英语从句中的“地点”表达法

在英语中用从句表达“地点”是常见现象，且灵活多样，既牵扯到状语从句中的让步状语从句和地点状语从句也包括定语从句和名词性从句。现在我们就通过几个“补全句子”的练习来学习下相关的表达方式。
题型：补全句子（注意词数要求）

第5题和第6题考查的是where引导的定语从句。5. where he had to leave 6. where there was a dying man
第7题which/that引导的定语从句表达地点。which/that you once visited。
第8题和第9题考查的是where引导的名词性从句。7. where the noise was 8. where I catch
第10题考查的是what引导的宾语从句表达地点的用法。介词in后面接的是宾语从句，从句中却主语，既不指人（who），也不指哪一个（which），所以要用连接代词what。what was a wasteland
