The King’s New Clothes (3)
Not long after, the king sends another honest official to see the cloth. The official comes to the weaving room, of course, he can’t see anything too. When the two liars ask him if the cloth is beautiful, he says: “ Yes, it’s very beautiful.” He doesn’t want anyone to know that he can’t see the cloth.
A few days later, the king wants to see the cloth. So he takes all his officials to go with him. When he comes to the room, he sees the two men are working hard on the machines. But he can’t see any cloth. The king thinks: “ Why I can’t see the cloth? Am I a foolish man? This is the most horrible thing to me!” The two liars ask:“ My majesty, how is the cloth? Is it beautiful?
Are you satisfied with it?” The king says: “ Yes, it’s very beautiful. I like it very much! This is the best cloth I have ever seen!” All the officials say the cloth is so beautiful, and they suggest the two liars to make some clothes for the king, so the king could wear the new clothes on tomorrow’s parade ceremony. So the two liars work for the whole night. The next morning, they show the new clothes to the king.
“ My majesty, these are the trousers, this is the robe and this is the coat !” they say, “the clothes are so light, so you can’t feel them when you wear them. This is why they are so special.” All the officials say : “ What beautiful clothes!” , but actually, they can’t see anything.
So the king puts on the new clothes, he stands in front of the mirror, appreciates his new clothes. He says: “ The clothes fit me very well.”
Then, the king comes to the street for the parade ceremony. All the people come out to see the magical clothes. They all say that the clothes are very beautiful, because they don’t want others to know that they are foolish. Suddenly, a kid says : “ But the king doesn’t wear anything!”
Then some people say : “ The kid is right, the king doesn’t wear anything.” At last, everyone says : “ Yes, the king doesn’t wear anything.”
The king is a little scared, because he thinks that they are right. But he must finish the ceremony, so he walks more proudly.

皇帝的新裝（3）
不久以後，皇帝派另一個誠實的官員去看布。這位官員來到了紡織間，當然，他也什麼都看不到。當兩個騙子問他這塊布是否漂亮的時候，他說：“是的，它非常漂亮。” 他不想讓任何人知道他看不見布。
幾天後，皇帝想看看布。於是他帶著所有的官員和他一起去。當他到了房間的時候，他看見兩個人在機器上努力的工作著。但是，他看不見任何布。皇帝心想：為什麼我看不見布呢？難道我是一個愚蠢的人嗎？對我來說這真是最糟糕的事了。兩個騙子問：“陛下，這塊布怎麼樣呢？它是不是很漂亮呢？您對它滿意嗎？” 皇帝說：“是的，它很漂亮，我非常喜歡。它是我見過的最漂亮的布了。” 所有的官員都說這布很漂亮，他們建議兩個騙子用布給皇帝做些衣服，這樣皇帝就可以在明天的遊行大典上穿了。於是，兩個騙子工作了整個晚上。第二題早上，他們把新衣服拿給皇帝看。“陛下，這是褲子，這是袍子，這是外套，” 他們說，“這些衣服非常輕，所有當你穿著它們的時候，你根本感覺不到它們。這就是為什麼它們如此的特殊。” 所有的官員都說：“好漂亮的衣服啊！” 但是事實上，他們什麼都看不見。
於是，皇帝穿上了新衣服，他站在鏡子前面，欣賞著他的新衣服，他說：“這衣服非常適合我啊！”
然後，皇帝來到大街上參加遊行典禮。所有的人都出來看這件神奇的衣服。他們都說這衣服太漂亮了，因為他們不想讓別人知道他們愚蠢。忽然，一個小孩說：“但是，皇帝什麼也沒穿啊！” 然後，一些人說：“那個小孩是對的，皇帝什麼都沒穿！” 最後，所有的人都說：“是啊，皇帝什麼都沒穿！”
皇帝有點害怕了，因為他認為他們說得對。但是他必須完成典禮，於是他走得更加自豪了。
