今天最火爆的消息，莫过于就是2020年高考延期一个月了，我们也算是见证历史重要时刻的人了，哈哈哈~听说很多同学在家焦躁的不行，4个月时间说长不长，说短也不短，可是就是感觉自己还有很多的不会可怎么办啊？哎，我也没得办法~
为尽绵薄之力，大白就简单罗列一下与“肺炎”相关的英语表达吧~希望小伙伴们能喜欢。
1、pneumonia 英[njumni] 肺炎
Pneumonia is a serious disease which affects your lungs and makes it difficult for you to breathe.
例句：
Penicillin cured him of pneumonia.
青霉素治好了他的肺炎。
2、 novel coronavirus 新型冠状病毒
coronavirus是指冠状病毒，novel很多人都知道有“长篇小说”的意思，但是做形容词的时候，其意思就是“新颖的; 与众不同的; 珍奇的”，相比较new，novel强调一种前所未有的新，也就是强调某种东西我们从来就没有见过。
We've made clear that the transmission routes of the novel coronavirus are through droplets and contacts.
我们已经明确了新型冠状病毒的传播途径是通过飞沫传播和接触传播.
3、symptom 症状 征兆
Taiwan reports first novel coronavirus infection without symptom.

4、thermometer 体温计
The thermometer reads 27 degrees.
温度计的读数是27度。
The thermometer fell to zero lastnight.
昨夜温度计显示气温下降到零度。
5、take my temperature 量体温
Can you take my temperature, please?
能麻烦你帮我量体温吗？
Oh, I feel a little feverish. I'll take my temperature.
哦，我感觉有点发烧。我要量个体温看看。
6、under quarantine 隔离
quarantine：separates and restricts the movement of people who were exposed to a contagious disease to see if they become sick.
“在家自我隔离14天”可以怎么说呢？
可以用以下这两种表达：
be self-quarantined/isolated at home for 14 days
quarantine/isolate yourself at home for 14 days
看到这里，可能会有爱学习的小伙伴会问quarantine和isolated之间有什么区别呢？个人觉得，区别在于包含关系。
从意思上说，quarantine是指防止疫病扩散采取的隔离，而isolate就是单纯隔离，并没有特殊限定，所以isolate>quarantine。
新型冠状病毒疫情期间，如果去过疫区后回家自我隔离，用self-quarantine和self-isolate都可以。只是看到quarantine别人马上能联想到疫病，而isolate需要有上下文。
7、wear masks 戴口罩
Surgeons wear masks to prevent the spread of infection.
外科医生戴着口罩以防止传染病的传播。
