My beloved is white and ruddy;
His skin is as the most fine gold;
His cheeks are as a bed of spices,
even though he hasn't washed since lastDecember.
His eyes are as the eyes of doves;
His body is as bright ivory;
His legs are as pillars of marble,
in pants so dirty they stand by themselves.
He is altogether lovable,
but he'll always be a two-bit punk.
So he'll never be my beloved,
what a shame.
我的愛人是如此英俊，
他的皮膚像黃金，
他的雙頰像香草臺，
雖然他已經好幾個月沒洗過臉。
他的眼如鴿子般明亮，
他的身軀如同雕刻的象牙，
他的雙腿像大理石柱般堅實，
雖然包裹它們的褲子髒得要死。
總而言之他是那樣可愛，
可惜他永遠是一個一無所有的小阿飛，
所以他永遠不會是我的愛人，
真可惜。
