注重推薦《習近平談治國理政》等著作的中英文雙語版本，提升語言運用能力，拓展國際化視野。

We recommend bilingual versions of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China to improve language skills and expand international perspectives.
- 科學性UP！
將“一帶一路”、人工智能等新戰略、新基建的經典科普著作調入書單，豐富知識結構，培養科學素養。
Scientific UP!
We list the classical science works, such as "The Belt and Road", artificial intelligence and other new strategies. These books will enrich knowledge and cultivate scientific literacy.

將可讀性、趣味性強的人物傳記調入書單，擴大經典的閱讀覆蓋面，發揮榜樣作用。

為了更好地開展“閱讀100本經典”活動，為交大學子提供更科學的經典閱讀指導，學校專門針對學生閱讀情況開展了調研。調研採用等距抽樣的方式抽取了2000名本科生為調研對象，覆蓋了全部專業和年級。
1、學生閱讀“100本經典”中書籍數量大幅增加。
2、學生閱讀結構進一步優化。
3、學生閱讀氛圍得到有效提升。
In order to better carry out this activity and provide more guidance, the school has specifically conducted a survey. An equidistant sample of 2,000 undergraduate students, covering all majors and levels, was selected for the survey.
1. The number of "100 Classics" books has significantly increased.
2. The reading structure is further optimized.
3. The reading atmosphere is effectively enhanced.
基於調研結果，學校面向院士、教授、校外輔導員、校友、班主任和輔導員開展了《“100本經典”書單》的推薦工作。來自20個學院、書院的105位老師從優化知識結構、培養科學思維、拓寬學術視野、滋養精神世界的角度為同學們推薦了381本書籍。桂生悅、樊登、餘建軍等多位知名校友也從他們的人生感悟和豐富的社會閱歷出發，為學弟學妹們推薦了多本好書。在老師和同學們集思廣益、群策群力下，最終形成了《“100本經典”書單》（2020版）。書單中包含必讀書籍20本，選讀書籍80本，其中《共產黨宣言》《資本論》《社會契約論》《國富論》等書籍是習近平總書記在重要講話中引用和推薦過的書籍。
Based on the survey, the school encouraged the academicians,professors,external counselors, alumni, class teachers and counselors to implement the "100 Classics" book list. 105 teachers from 20 colleges and schools recommend as many as 381 books from the perspective of optimizing the students structure, cultivating scientific thinking, broadening academic horizons and enriching the spiritual world. Gui Shengyue, Fan Deng, Yu Jianjun and other famous alumni make suggestion for younger schoolmates from their perception of life and rich social experience. The "100 Classics" book list (2020 edition) was finally formulated through the collective efforts of teachers and students.The list includes 20 requird books and 80 selected books, among which The Communist Manifesto. The Social Contract, Wealth of Nations and other books are cited and recommended by general secretary Xi in his important speeches.

2019年《鄉土中國》《心理學與生活》等10門全校性導讀選修課上線
10 school-wide introductory elective courses are issued in 2019, including from the Soil-The Foundations of Chinese Society and Psychology and Life
小學期“人間詞話”“讀書—美學散步”等14門書院專項綜能課程開設，校園裡的“百本經典”閱覽專區不斷增加。“‘悅享讀’經典誦讀會”“60s薦書”“讀書訪賢”等特色品牌活動耳熟能詳。以書會友、以讀促悟
In the short semester, the college set up 14 specialized courses for general education, such as "The Notes and Comments on Ci Poetry" and "Reading and appreciation ".There are plenty of reading areas in campus.Equally familiar are the featured events, like "'Enjoy reading' recital meeting", "60s recommendation of books", and "learn from sages through books".Students make friends and understand profound truth by reading.
兩年的時光，在“閱讀100本經典”活動的影響下，校園經典閱讀活動形成常態化，同學們的閱讀興趣日漸濃郁。
The two-year influential campaign has made reading classics part of campus life in XJTU, with ascending zeal in reading among students.
