那本期我們再接再厲，再說說air這個可愛的英語單詞。
Air是“空氣”，那“in the air”和“on the air”有什麼區別呢？
一定要好好學起來，這兩個英語詞組的使用頻率非常的廣泛。
in the air啥意思？
首先我們看一下in the air的使用，大家看兩個英語例句來感受一下。
You say that something is in the air:
① The plane is in the air.
② Put your hands in the air.
Air可以表示空氣，也可以表示天空。
英語例句1：The plan is in the air. 就表示飛機正在天空中飛翔著。
英語例句2：Put your hands in the air. 也就是說，把你的手舉起來放在空中。
所以，in the air就按照它的字面意思理解即可，表示在空中。
on the air又是啥意思？
但是，on the air就有一點點不一樣了。
當我們用到on the air這個英語表達的時候，它跟空氣其實沒有什麼關係了。
首先看個英文例句：
① The show has been on the air for over 30 years.
這個電視劇已經播放30年了。
* 注意哦，on the air這個英語表達經常用於電視節目，廣播節目在播，類似broadcast播放，播出。
看下英文解釋：
You say that a TV or radio programme is on the air or on air (=it is broadcast)
和它對應的表達off the air表示這個節目不再播出了，可能被砍了，也可能完結了。
看個英文例句：
② The radio first went on the air three years ago and it will be taken off the air next month.
這個廣播節目3年前開播的，下個月將會被砍掉。
總結一下
① in the air 就表示在空氣中，在空中。
② on the air 表示這個節目在播。
