With hands full of calluses
They hold up the ideal of life
点点汗滴珍珠般闪光
染绿大地装点了祖国的美丽
Drops of sweat like pearls shining
Afforest the earth, beautifying our motherland
为了国家和民族的繁荣昌盛
无私奉献播洒芬芳与快乐
For the prosperity of the country and nation
They contribute selflessly to sow fragrance and happiness
用智慧和勤劳的双手
奉献青春无怨无悔
With their wisdom and industrious hands
They dedicate their youth with no regrets
把荒山改造成美丽的果园
在乱石岗上建起了大厦高楼
They transform barren hills into beautiful orchards
And build tall buildings on rocky hills
穿越高山大河建起高速公路和铁路
劳动者创造了今天的美好生活
Building highways and high-speed railways across mountains and rivers
Labourers have created today’s great life
