從純粹建築學的角度這個設計過於陳腐了。我認可蓮花這個概念以及其他人說很高興看到中國開始建設專業球場，但臨摹般地表現蓮花的花瓣，在我看來，是在拉低它的品質（原文detracting掃興貶損）。如果他們以建築語言曖昧地表現蓮花造型會比直接照抄生動得多。（至少鳥巢做到了從概念到形體都讓人認可，又不至於變成主題樂園）。所以從外觀上我看不出這是一個足球場，它的內部可以塞進任何東西誰知道呢，一個博物館，或者一個政府辦公樓..
From a purely architectural standpoint this project comes across as rather trite. I appreciate the intent and as others have said it's nice to see football-specific stadiums hit the Chinese scene, but the literal cdth of the flower petals here is, in my opinion, a detracting force. It would be more appealing if they had produced something decidedly architectural that made allusions to the forms of petals rather than being so literal. (At least the Birds Nest enables one to appreciate the design in both intent and form, without coming across as a theme park.) As a result from the outside this hardly says "football stadium!" In fact it could be anything inside to those who don't know; A museum, a government building...
內部同樣地，存在甚至加強了設計上的突兀。因為花瓣式頂棚完全貼著看臺結構，讓人感覺它的花瓣圖案純粹是個巧合：這些花瓣僅僅是個外殼被拍在了一個傳統造型球場的四周。這裡我相信如果頂層看臺的邊緣加入弧線和起伏（類似酋長球場）去契合花瓣造型，甚至或者在頂棚框架與座位相交的地方加入點動態視覺元素，整個設計會變得更好。
The interior, also, is both basic and reinforcing the conflict in design ethos. Because the canopy of petals is wholly detached from the structure for the seating it feels purely coincidental that it's a flower pattern: The petals are merely a shell slapped around a conventional stadium. In this instance I believe the design would be far better served if the upper tier of seating involved some curves and peaks (like the Emirates) that mimic the forms of the petals, and perhaps invite a few dynamic visual elements where the canopy frame meets the seating.
毫無疑問大量球場內外的小細節會在後面的深化中讓這個設計更為統一，但願它不只是一個獨特的外殼套在個普通球場上，僅靠些彩色的圖案和橫幅填充在建築框架之餘
I'm sure there are a lot of little details around and within the venue that will help unify the design scheme, but hopefully this will be more than simply a unique shell around a generic venue, with only color schemes and banners to fulfill the rest of the architectural unity.
