兩個黃鸝鳴翠柳，一行白鷺上青天。
A couple of orioles singing on the verdant willow, a row of egrets soaring into the cerulean sky.
值得一提的是黃鸝的英文oriole
跟奧利奧餅乾oreo發音幾乎一模一樣
奧利奧就還真拿這個段子做了營銷
窗含西嶺千秋雪，門泊東吳萬里船。
Lo the thousand years of snow resting on the west ridge from my window, behold the vessels from far east berthing at my door.
這裡用到了一個英文短語
lo and behold
分別用在兩句詩詞的開頭
國破山河在，城春草木深。
The empire had fallen while the landscape remained, spring ruthlessly adorned the broken land within city walls.
這句裡的第二句採用擬人手法翻譯
感時花濺淚，恨別鳥驚心。
Flowers could shed tears if they have heartstrings to tug, birds would get shocked if they had farewells to say.
這兩句的主語本來都是作者
由於移情的緣故
變成了花與鳥
烽火連三月，家書抵萬金。
The war had been waging nonstop for three months, letters from home trumped everything to me.
這裡面的trump可不是特朗普
是作動詞表示“勝過”
白頭搔更短，渾欲不勝簪。
Even losing grey hair as grief thickened, almost rendered grooming unnecessary.
注意白髮的英文是
grey hair

八月秋高風怒號，卷我屋上三重茅。
Wind of the late autumn in August kept roaring, tore away several layers of hay off the top of my thatch.
茅飛渡江灑江郊，高者掛罥長林梢，下者飄轉沉塘坳。
The hay flew across the river and spread over the bank, some twisted with tall branches in the woods, some swirled and sank into puddles.南村群童欺我老無力，忍能對面為盜賊，公然抱茅入竹去。
Kids from the south village thought nothing of my senility, heartlessly became thieves and carried the hay into bamboos under my nose.
唇焦口燥呼不得，歸來倚杖自嘆息。
Couldn't stop them with an already parched throat, only could return and sigh leaning on my cane.俄頃風定雲墨色，秋天漠漠向昏黑。
In no time the wind stopped and the cloud turned pitch-black, the autumn sky darkened the land in all directions.布衾多年冷似鐵，嬌兒惡臥踏裡裂。
The linen of the quilt felt like an iron plate after being used for many years, suckling couldn't sleep tight and shredded the inside with kicks.床頭屋漏無干處，雨腳如麻未斷絕。
There was no dry place within the thatch as the rain kept dripping through the roof like uncuttable lines.
自經喪亂少睡眠，長夜沾溼何由徹？
All the worldly chaos had already deprived me of contrived sleep, how on earth could I rest lying in such damp for a whole long night?
安得廣廈千萬間，大庇天下寒士俱歡顏，風雨不動安如山！
If only thousands of spacious houses would shelter all the wretched souls under the sun and put a smile on their faces, no amount of rain and wind could shake them whatsoever!嗚呼！何時眼前突兀見此屋，吾廬獨破受凍死亦足！
Alas! When shall I feast my eyes upon such houses, I would die happy in my broken and freezing thatch knowing this could be done!
