1.在目標期刊的網站上註冊一個賬號；
2. home 旁有 author 版面，點擊 Begin Submission，可以需填寫的必要信息 ；
3. 必要信息填寫的具體步驟：
step1：選擇手稿類型（Paper），填寫Title題目、Abstract摘要、及Section分類(例如：我的是Sensors and Sensors System)；
step2：上傳文件（PDF）【注意】該階段（即New Submission 階段）只要求上傳一個完整的PDF文件；Complete Document for Review (PDF Only)-->Upload Selected Files-->View PDF Proof-->Save and Continue
step3：關鍵詞（注意！此時填寫的關鍵詞，即出版時的關鍵詞）
step4：作者信息（co-authors' information）郵箱、學校、學院、且需要投稿人的OPCID賬號
step5：Referees（推薦的審稿人）
step6：Policies & Informationcover letterFundingNovelty & Significance
step7：檢查一遍
4.論文發表的十大狀態：
1）Manuscript Received 或 Submitted to Journal：上傳之後自動生成的狀態，表示投稿成功。
2）With editor：（投稿時，沒有指定編輯，稿件先到主編那裡，再到某個編輯）2-1）Editor assigned：主編將稿件分派給某個編輯；2-2）Editor declined invitation：該編輯拒絕了稿件，稿件回到主編手中；
3）Reviewers invited：編輯接受稿件，考慮邀請審稿人；3-1）Decision letter being prepared：編輯拒稿（可能性較小，除非英文表達太差）；
4）Under review：審稿人接受審稿；(1.21-1.25)
5）required review completed：審稿結束，等編輯處理；5-1）Evaluating recommendation：編輯評估審稿人意見；
6）Decision in procession：編輯做決定：接收、小修、大修、拒絕 rejected
7）Minor revision/Major revision：
8）Revision submitted to jounal：
9）10）Rejected 或者 Accepted：
依次收到了provisionally accepted、formal accept、DOI號 的郵件通知。看到接收的郵件時特別地開心^_^

5.論文檢索（被WOS收錄）
一般來說，文章被期刊錄用（Accepted），並不能立即被WOS收錄（及在WOS網站上檢索到該文章）。可以在WOS上檢索到該文章的正常時間結點是，文章被期刊正式刊出（即確定了該文章在xx年xx月xx日，xx卷xx期xx頁刊出）之後的幾周。
如果，和自己同一本期刊上的大多數其他文章能在WOS檢索了！！而自己的文章無法被檢索到！！！此時可以選擇在WOS提交自己的反饋了。
（選擇 I am reporting a missing article/issue）提供反饋的內容就是，告訴WOS，自己的文章已經看出了，理論上應該可以被檢索到了，但是還沒有，希望你們能夠儘快增加一條記錄。然後，提供自己文章的一些必要的信息，比如DOI，文章名，期刊名，卷數，頁碼等等，並留下自己的聯繫郵箱。（2019-12-02）
Our article was published on XXX Journal on September 30, 2019. The DOI for this article is XXX. However, Web of Science does not include a record of the article. We would appreciate it if we could add a new record on this record as soon as possible. If you have any information you need to know, please don't hesitate to contact me.（供參考）
一段時間之後（2019-12-23），郵箱裡就可以收到來自WOS的郵件，告訴你可以被檢索了，謝謝您的耐心等待與反饋。巴適~
【期刊一些細節總結】：
- 圖、表、公式Figure 1. 引用 figure 1；Table 1. 引用 table 1；(1) 引用 equation (1)；
- 額外信息期刊對於提交的手稿的要求：
在 author guidelines 的鏈接裡，可以看到期刊對於提交的手稿的要求。
分為以下幾方面的內容，Article structure; Article format; Article length; Figure for the journal articles，逐一簡單介紹：
- Article structure包括，Title, Authors, Abstract, Keywords, ... （如果使用模板，這裡不需要太關心）
- Article format提供了 LaTeX 和 Word (.docx .doc) 兩種模板。且最終提交的最終版是 PDF 形式：
When submitting a new article, we only require you to upload a single PDF file (and any relevant supplementary data). The PDF should contain your complete manuscript, including any embedded figures and tables.
- Article length告訴我們不要寫太長。。
Papers.Reports of original research work; not normally more than 8500 words (10 journal pages). Papers on new instruments should include some representative results.Claims for originality of instrument design or novelty of measurement technique should be clearly stated in the abstract.
找到準備投稿的期刊的要求是10頁以內。
- Figure（關於圖片，期刊給的要求）
- You are encouraged to prepare figures that are clear, easy to read and of the best possible quality and resolution. （儘可能清晰易懂）
- Figures are converted and sized to the journal template as part of the production process for accepted articles, but they are not normally edited further. It is your responsibility to ensure that the figures you supply are legible and technically correct. （一般主編不會再對圖片進行編輯？）
- Characters should appear as they would be set in the main body of the article.
- Figures should be numbered in the order in which they are referred to in the text.
- If there is more than one part to a figure (e.g. figure 1(a), figure 1(b) etc.)
- （對於Word用戶）For articles prepared using Word, where possible please also supply all figures as separate graphics files (in addition to being embedded in the text). Our preferred graphics format is EPS. These files can be used directly to give high-quality results, and file sizes are small in comparison with most bitmap forms.（除了在文中嵌入，還需提供單獨的圖片文件；格式傾向於 EPS）
- Fonts used should be restricted to the standard font families (Times, Helvetica, Courier or Symbol) 字體要求
- Captions should be included in the text and not in the graphics files. Figure captions should contain relevant key terms and be self-contained (avoiding acronyms) so that a reader can understand the figure without having to refer to the text. （標題保持獨立，避免使用縮寫）

- 多數論文的doi，在其pdf的頁眉頁腳，可以直接找到；
- 百度學術，檢索論文標題；
