傳奇的“外教之家”，最愛在清晨看甦醒中的重慶
Who is she？· 她是誰
從外表來看， Jasmine是亞美尼亞人，丈夫是敘利亞人，但兩個孩子卻是地地道道的“中國人”。除了標誌性的外國面孔，Yoyo和Sami越來越像地道的重慶小朋友，會說重慶方言，甚至連飲食的習慣和口味，都已經在重慶化。“我們一家人都很喜歡吃火鍋、燒烤、涼麵、小面。”
從外教的專業資質來看，Jasmine是重慶外專局獲批的A類資質外教。
注：A類資質外教在外籍教師中是鳳毛麟角，且一般在高校任教。目前重慶合法合規的A類資質外教不超過30人。

Jasmine Hakobyan,Ph.D.
Born and raised with Russian-Armenian values Jasmine has adopted cross-cultural communication as core of her living, which led her to do her MA in international Relations. Passion toward cultures and languages grew into another MA degree in Cross Cultural Studies in California. To have legal perspective of Eastern and western values for better integration in the era of Globalization opened another research sphere for her, bringing her and her family to China in 2012.Working as Director of Operations in Experimental Educational Complex under Ministry of Education and as Administrative manager at DHL Express Jasmine could realize teaching through sharing what is personal could have enormous power of changing hearts and minds toward being more loving of different cultures. Since 2014 Jasmine is fully involved in sharing her professional experience and knowledge through teaching and training in multicultural settings. She confesses teaching to be an amazing dynamic process of self-discovery, where everyone has to go through to determine their life purpose. Our students are quite amazing in doing this. Despite being so young, they already know where they stand and what they want to do in their lives.

Jasmine的丈夫和婆婆都是四川外國語大學教授，三人都是博士，精通法律、經濟、語言文學、文化交際，婆婆賽勒瑪•伊布拉欣去年被國家外國專家局評為2017“外教中國”年度人物。兩個兒子在讀小學，一家三代已經在重慶生活了十年。

“中國味兒”的教育方式
和Jasmine相識以來，讓我們印象最深刻的便是她對於教學的活力、激情，以及她對於中國文化與中華民族核心價值觀的認同與讚賞——
從2012年開始，Jasmine的兩個兒子，Yoyo和Sami便隨父母在重慶安了家。
入鄉隨俗，小哥倆的日常生活跟普通孩子沒什麼兩樣。Jasmine也總是告訴Yoyo和Sami，要從一個國家的傳統節日去體會這個國家的文化精髓。每年，小哥倆還會和從亞美尼亞趕來的外公外婆一起過春節。包餃子，搓湯圓……這些小活動加深了小哥倆對中國文化的認同與熱愛。就如同媽媽Jasmine教他們的一樣——“懷著最淳樸的善意去熱愛腳下的這片土地”
在今年中國疫情爆發最嚴重，舉國上下封閉隔離抗擊疫情的時候，Jasmine的大兒子Yoyo特意錄製了一段視頻，為他的中國朋友們加油打氣：
有困難，我們一起扛。
願中國早日度過難關！
願世界上的每一個孩子
都遠離病毒、遠離災難
小兒子Sami也手繪一副海報為武漢加油：
其實不光是教育自己的孩子，對學生，Jasmine也持有同樣的觀點：不論你學什麼，在哪兒學，為誰學，你都應該始終為自己靈魂深處所保有的中華文化而自豪。
“I always tell my students “You get to fly high so you may explore more, but you have to get down to the nest to rest, to get blessed and bless others through strong values that you hold as Chinese citizens”.

厚重的文化底蘊使人向上——As I was thinking about the opportunity of joining the International Department of # 8 Middle School, first I came to see the legacy the school has in the minds and hearts of locals, giving generations of talented and smart individuals who excel themselves to give it back to the country which makes them who they are; honest, hardworking, confident and loving. Second, I thought what a unique place it is where you can “give through being refilled so you can give again”. Through short period of interactions, I could already feel the blessings.
今天，中國正在走向世界的中心，吸引了很多外國友人對中國文化的極大興趣，並投身於跨文化傳播的行列之中。Jasmine一家不是中國人，卻勝似中國人，他們用行動和信念告訴我們，對一個國家的喜歡，不僅源於對其精神文化的高度認同，而且源於彼此割捨不斷的情誼。
