1、當問別人是否有某個地方時，要用到的句型及回答。
Is there a ... ?如：Is there a hospital near here ? Yes ,there is ./No,there isn't.
2、如果有某個地方時，又不知道在哪裡，要用到的句型及回答。
Where is ...? It's near/next to/behind/in front of/beside...
如：Where is the hospital ?
Where is the cinema ？
3、即知道了有這個地方，還不知道怎麼走，要用到的句型。
How can I get there ?
How can I get to the hospital ?
下面是一段對話：
A:Excuse me,Is there a hospital near here .
B: Yes ,there is .
A: Where is the bookstore ?
B: It's next to the hospital.
A: How can I get there ?
B: Turn left at the science museum.Then turn right at the crossing.Go straight and you can see it near the hospital.
4、感嘆句型
（1） what +a +形容詞+名詞 +！
（2）what +an +形容詞+名詞 +！

注意： a 用在輔音前，an 用在元音前，如：an orange ,an egg, an umbrella.
