2、詞形變化。比如對於形容詞，需要知道比較級和最高級。如果是動詞需要知道過去式，現在分詞形式和過去分詞形式等。
3、英文解釋。通過閱讀英文解釋不但可以瞭解這個詞的準確意思，也是一種擴大詞彙量的途徑。
