China has been one of the most unexpected and incredible experiences that have ever happened to me. The company where I am working at was looking for someone who could speak English well and willing to relocate to Shanghai, to establish stronger connections and business relationships in China.
來中國一直是我遇到過的最意想不到和最令人難以置信的經歷之一。我工作的公司正在尋找能說英語並願意搬遷到上海的人，以便在中國建立更牢固的聯繫和業務關係。
The first thing that came into my mind was "why not?" I am not married, and I was looking for a change in my daily life, and I had been looking for learn a new language. I also always felt interested in the Chinese culture. What could go wrong?
Six more months after that I was taking the longest flight of my life where the next stop was my beautiful Shanghai.
我想到的第一件事就是“為什麼不呢？”我沒有結婚，我正在尋找日常生活的變化，我一直在尋找學習一門新語言。我也一直對中國文化感興趣。為什麼不嘗試一下呢？
在那之後的六個月裡，我度過了我生命中最長的一段航程，下一站是我美麗的上海。
It wasn't easy for the first few months, being in a place where you literally don't understand the language and you can't read either. It was a big challenge in my life, but in my case, China had two stages; one was when I was a laowai trying to live in China and then when I started to feel this country as my second home.
起初的幾個月並不容易，因為你真的不懂語言甚至你連看都看不懂。這是我生命中的一大挑戰，對我而言，在中國的經歷有兩個階段；第一個階段是是作為一個老外試圖在中國生活，第二個階段是我開始覺得這個國家是我的第二個家。
"A donde fueras haz lo que vieres"
This is a famous saying in Spanish that means "From wherever you go, do what you see others doing", which I started to put it into practice in order to make this experience unique.

Few months passed and I started to feel more and more assimilated into the Chinese culture. This began when I started to prefer using chopsticks instead of forks and knives, and drinking tea became an everyday enjoyment. Every weekend I really enjoyed the traditional dances with the ayis in the park, the pleasure of try amazing flavours without knowing exactly what I was eating, gambei with my friends in the bar and more, and you know what? I was loving it!
幾個月過去了，我開始感覺越來越多地融入中國文化。這開始於我開始喜歡用筷子代替叉子和刀子，喝茶也成了日常享受。每個週末我都非常喜歡在公園裡與ayis一起享受傳統舞蹈的樂趣，在不知道我吃什麼的情況下嘗試去各種風味的樂趣，和酒吧裡的朋友一起吃東西、乾杯等等，你知道嗎？我真的很喜歡這樣的生活！
However, I realized I needed to be more focused on my work. The company started to have more deals, and I started to have less time to do all the things that made me happy, and in other words, I wasn't able to have quality time for myself to relax for a while.
但是，我意識到我需要更專注於我的工作。公司逐漸開始有更多的交易，我開始沒有多少時間做每一件讓我開心的事情，換句話說，我沒有足夠的時間讓自己放鬆一下。
Working was taking me a lot of time along with the need of travelling from one city to another, looking for the best suppliers, going back and forth from my apartment to the office. It was so exhausting, so tiring that I stopped doing other things outside of work. From then, I jumped into the conclusion; the thing that I needed was TIME because perhaps my job does make me so happy but I needed to better balance other aspects of my life.
工作花了我很多時間，我需要從一個城市到另一個城市，尋找最好的供應商。還有從我的公寓來回辦公室（也很浪費時間）。真是太累了，太累了，以至於我不再有時間做工作之外其他事了。從那時起，我得出了一個結論：我需要的是時間，因為也許我的工作讓我很開心，但我需要更好地平衡生活中的其他方面。
Time, How can you get time? How can I gain more time or at least take advantage of the little free time I had? While looking for the answers to my questions, I realized I was completely wasting my time and losing the opportunity to enjoy my innovated, modern, fast-paced city with endless opportunities.
時間，怎麼能爭到取時間呢？我怎樣才能獲得更多時間或者至少利用我的空閒時間？在尋找我的問題的答案時，我開始意識到我過去完全是在浪費時間，失去了享受這個創新、現代、快節奏的城市的機會。
I was wasting my free time in the underground of the city when there was a world outside the metro (because the metro was where I spent the majority of my time when I was moving from one place to another). So I started to look for new alternatives.
當地鐵外面有一個世界的時候，我在城市的地鐵上浪費了我的空閒時間（因為地鐵是我從一個地方到另一個地方時花費了大部分時間的地方）。所以我開始尋找新的替代品。
Walking and ridding bicycle is one of my favorite activities, but it wasn't my ideal method of getting around. Again, I had little free time and wanted to change my routine, this is why I got my NIU. It was not an immediate decision, it took me a while to get to the best one.
走路和騎自行車是我最喜歡的活動之一，但這不是我理想的出行方式，那樣我仍然沒有空閒時間去改變我的日常生活，這也是我選擇小牛的原因。我並沒有第一時間做決定，而是花了一段時間才找到最好的選擇。
Without getting into details, NIU stood out among other brands, and I can ensure you that it will change your experience in urban exploration. its fast speed is perfect for my fast-paced and busy life.

Now I really enjoy going to the park and run for a while before going to work, since before I got my NIU I spent around 25 minutes to get there, and 25 minutes to get back. Now it takes me 20 minutes in total roundtrip. I am now able to win some of my time back and to live the life that I want. I've started to gain more time in doing things that, in short words, make my soul happy and free. And most importantly, I found the perfect work-life balance (family, friends, health, labor and spiritual).
現在我真的很喜歡去公園並在上班前跑一段時間，因為在我得到小牛之前我要花大約25分鐘到達那裡，再花25分鐘回來。現在我總共僅需要20分鐘的往返時間。我現在能夠贏回一些時間，過上我想要的生活。我已經開始有更多時間做一些事情，簡而言之，這讓我的靈魂快樂和自由。最重要的是，我找到了工作與生活完美的平衡（家庭，朋友，健康，勞動和精神）。
I have had the opportunity to see Shanghai from a different perspective, which is incredible how it never stops surprising me with unexpected views and unknown corners of the city, this is what I mostly wanted to captured in my photos.

I am having a blast in China, which now I consider part of me and of the person I have become today. I don't know how much longer I will stay here or how more memories will I be able to make in my beloved 中國, but for now, I am definitely enjoying the journey in my NIU.
