An interactive page of “moving” antiques has attracted netizens’ attention and been widely shared on social media. Actually, the page is a promo of a video content competition of a leading Chinese short-video platform.
The contest, hosted by seven renowned museums in China – the National Museum of China and six provincial museums – aims to lure more young people to step into museums to learn about the stories of the relics.
The contest is also a celebration of International Museum Day which falls on Friday. This year, the theme of the day is "Hyperconnected museums: New approaches, new publics." We invited four CGTN editors to share one of their favorite museums and the experience when visiting it. We also discussed what’s most welcoming at the museums.
夢星 Xing
觀復博物館。這是馬未都的私人博物館，作為老爺子每期“脫口秀”都看過的鐵粉，現場看有點聖地巡禮的意思。喜歡裡面的展品，它們不一定每一件都在歷史上有無比重大的意義，但每一件都很精緻，用現代人的審美看也很棒，有些展品還有其背後的故事。上次去的時候是夏天，一院子的樹蔭下，好多隻“貓館長”悠閒地溜達。後來老爺子回來了，他自己默默走上二樓辦公區，參觀的遊客們都看到他了，但也沒人過去打擾他，一種很有默契的感覺。
除了很多很大很全的綜合型博物館，很多專注於一個小方向的小博物館也很贊。內容不用太寬泛，只要給真正喜歡的人看就足夠了。
I prefer Guanfu Museum in Beijing, which was founded by Ma Weidu in 1997. The exhibits are not so historic but exquisite. Last time I went there, many cats were strolling. I also came across curator Ma, so did other visitors, but all of us did not bother him. Compared with some national museums, I think small museums that focus on a specific field are also great places to visit.
陳姌 Muliani
間諜博物館。幾年前去芬蘭坦佩雷出差，駐地附近偶然發現的，黑白兩色的張貼畫上有一個戴墨鏡和圍巾的人像側臉，很有吸引力。走進去看，其實地方不大，但是展品很豐富。其中一個是旋鈕式的變聲器，聽著自己的聲音變成男聲還挺好玩兒的。
去博物館主要是為了開闊眼界。因為有孩子的緣故，近些年去博物館更看重的是讓孩子的體驗更好，比如展館的設計、展品的擺放、是否有解說等，這些才是更能體現人文關懷的地方。
The spy museum in Finland is quite interesting. The place is not large but the exhibits are rich. A rotary switch knob that can change my voice from female to male is fun. When I visit a museum, I care more about the human concern that’s on display, like the building design and exhibits on display.

去年底剛剛翻修完成重新開門的湘博設計了大型的光影秀來展示馬王堆漢墓從漆棺到帛畫上呈現的圖景，讓古人對“生與死、天地人”的瑰麗想象能在現代科技的幫助下活過來。
阿布扎比“盧浮宮”。白色的建築群坐落在藍色的海濱，外觀大氣。這個去年才開張的博物館已經擁有來自世界各地的珍品。不同地區的藝術作品根據時間順序放置，參觀者可以直觀地感受到不同時期不同文化的差異和相互之間的影響。
A light show of the exhibition of theMawangdui Han Tomb in the reopened Hunan Museum in central China has impressedme most. Louvre Abu Dhabi is also an interesting place to go. The buildings aresurrounded by seawater and cherished worldwide treasures.
宋波兒 Bell
位於美國洛杉磯的蓋蒂中心。因為很“網紅”，所以就去了。博物館不大，卻有豐富的印象派館藏，包括梵高、莫奈、雷諾阿、塞尚、高更、馬奈等諸多大家之作，很過癮。博物館外有一個很大的露臺花園，是我心中俯瞰洛杉磯景色的最佳地點之一。關鍵是人少！拍照沒人跟你搶位置哈哈哈！
好的博物館應該能讓人看得懂，有明確的主題，最好和展品能有互動。另外展館別太大，逛著會比較累。
The Getty Center in Los Angeles is an internet sensation and home to many impressionist masterpieces. The garden outside the museum is the best place to overlook the city. Few people, nice place and great for taking pictures. A good museum should have an explicit theme so we can have some interaction with the exhibits.
博物館：神廟還是論壇？
小而精緻、人文關懷、展品互動也成為了當下觀眾參觀博物館關注的重點。自上世紀80年代開始，“新博物館學”的興起讓很多博物館開始重新進行自身定位，人文關懷逐漸成為博物館的中心。博物館需要保護藏品、進行研究，但另一方面，博物館更要注重參觀者的感受，打造一個人性化的空間。

即便是故宮，儼然也拋棄了高高在上的“皇家”博物館的姿態。更不用說隨著故宮文創產品的崛起，這個600歲的博物館也變得愈加“萌萌噠”。
The Palace Museum in Beijing transferred its ice house in 2016 to an open service area which has a capacity of almost 300 visitors. Last year, the museum announced that all entrance tickets are now being sold online, a move to save visitors from queuing to buy tickets at the gate.
在人本理念下，參觀博物館的人群也逐漸不侷限於“精英群體”,更多普通人有機會走進這個原本有些“門檻”的機構。當服務對象從精英轉為百姓，當博物館和參觀者的溝通從自上而下變為雙向交流，人在博物館中被賦予了更多權力，博物館的地位則在消解。在諸多“網紅”博物館內，參觀者不僅能夠選擇成為展覽的一部分，還能擁有在博物館中闡釋和表達的權力。
自拍博物館的創建者泰爾認為比起拍蒙娜麗莎，很多人更傾向於和蒙娜麗莎自拍。"People don't want to just be silent consumers, they want to be a part of the art. There are many more selfies with the Mona Lisa than actual Mona Lisas," Tair Mamedov, a co-founder of the Museum of Selfies, told Mashable.
神廟變論壇，誰下的藥？
還記得曾經的“故宮跑”麼？2015年秋天故宮博物院的“石渠寶笈特展”中,展出在武英殿的《清明上河圖》兩個月裡吸引17萬人次參觀,“故宮跑”一時成為社會熱詞。
在大眾對文化需求的增加下，一些以迎合受眾為目標的新型博物館也就此出現，但其中的文化含量則令人質疑。當人們日漸依賴於社交平臺分享和展示自己的生活時，一些博物館也為此特別打造成“適配社交媒體”的場所。
The Egg House in Los Angeles, however, does not provide helpful information about the history of eggs, as well as controversies surrounding agriculture in America, such as animal cruelty and free-range or ethical eggs.
“The Egg House is more of a funhouse rather than an exhibit,” Biubiu Xu, the founder of the pop-up museum, told The Guardian. “The experience aims at providing a fantasy space where guests can play or interact and enjoy themselves; it’s not an educational space.”
大眾在博物館內的拍照熱情並不侷限於新型博物館，也包括老牌博物館。成立於1895年的笛洋美術館(de Young Museum)為了讓這種熱情“有的放矢”，設置了六天“無照片”營業時間。
The frenzy of taking photos in museum and posting them on social media has been frowned upon by some museum patrons. Though it would be wrong to dismiss everyone taking photos as superficial or absent-minded, as the act could be a creative or memorial one.
The de Young Museum, located in Los Angeles, responded to the “photo obsession” complaint with a kind of compromise, by carving out “photo-free” hours during a six-day span from March 13 to March 18, according to the Times.

不論是湘博的辛追墓墓坑中光影與藝術的結合，還是足不出戶觀千所博物館的館藏，高科技的應用讓博物館有更多創意的展示方法。
China's State Administration of Cultural Heritage (SACH) released an AI museum project on Friday, including functions such as a smart map to help plan a visitor's itinerary in a museum as well as setting out exhibit displays. Currently, the online map has more than 1,400 digital museums, such as Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum in northwest China's Shaanxi Province and the Suzhou Museum in east China's Jiangsu Province.
博物館是一個講故事的地方，但如果太過高高在上不免讓人產生距離感，可一旦走下神壇徹底為了迎合受眾走向另一個極端也不太可取。
正像今年“國際博物館日”的主題“超級連接的博物館：新方法、新公眾（Hyperconnected museums: New approaches, new publics）”，博物館該如何平衡時代的潮流、受眾的需求和本身的定位可能還要經過很長時間的探索。有“尊嚴”的講故事，或許是未來博物館的一個希冀。
