英語“使用能力”訓練：Sleep on it
我們多年學習英語的最大問題，是不會也不能用英語“讀”英語，而是隻會用中文“讀”，甚至是不管三七二十一直接就“讀”成英語。
用中文“讀”是不會促進你的英語能力，尤其是英語“使用能力”的，因為你根本沒有“使用”到英語。它只說明你“用”中文的意思“理解”了那句英語在說什麼。
“使用英語能力”和“用中文理解英語什麼意思”顯然是兩個不同概念。
但是，多數人還是會把這二者混為一談。
“讀”英語體現或訓練的就是你英語“使用能力”的過程，英語閱讀就是反覆訓練這個語言能力，直至熟練運用。
有個“英語教學”視頻是要求你的“見到英語說出中文”(Put English into Chinese)的，而不是“見英語說出英語”(Put English into English)的英語“使用能力”訓練：你用中文是“懂”了，可是你的英語能力沒有一點改變和使用。

2. get back to you. 稍後再答覆你
翻譯：抱歉，我得好好想想，可以下週答覆你嗎？
本篇英語“使用能力”難度係數：★★★☆☆
英語“使用能力”訓練包括兩個步驟：
1. 用Yahoo查英英字典的英語釋義
2. “使用”英語表達所讀到的英語釋義(相對於用中文去讀英語釋義)。
1) Yahoo sleep on it define(用Yahoo查英英字典的英語釋義)
Idiom：sleep on it, sleep on (something)
1. To postpone a decision until the following day so that one has additional time to consider it.
2. To postpone a decision until one has slept through the night.
3. Not make a decision until the following day so that you can have more time to think about it.
4. To think about something overnight before deciding.
這些英語足夠讓你無需藉助中文就可以知道sleep on it是什麼意思(用英語理解)。
做不到？那麼你學的英語是用來幹什麼的呢？
2) “使用”英語能力訓練：Put English into English能說出下面的英語嗎？
1. Okay.Got it. To sleep on it or something is an English idiom
2. If we say we sleep on it, or sleep on something,we mean：
2a. We postpone/put off/delay a decision, we won't make a decision until the following day.
2b. We sleep on it ,or sleep on something so that we will have additional time,or more time to consider it,to think about it.
我們能如此主動“使用”英語已經是很好的英語口語。
當然，能說出下面的例句更好，不過，這是另外一種“英語口語”了：
1. Why don't you sleep on the offer and let us know your decision in the morning?
2. I'm still not sure if I'm ready to spend that much money. Can I sleep on it?
我們把這類英語口語稱為今後“照搬使用”型英語口語，體現不出一個人的主動使用英語情況和能力。
