去海邊玩，一般是在沙灘上吹吹海風，在海里遊游泳。seaside表面上是海邊的意思，但具體指海邊的城鎮；
seaside tour=沿海城市旅遊（也可以是海島遊）
去海邊=go to the beach
eg：If you want to relax, then I recommend you to go to the beach.
如果你想放鬆一下，那我建議你去海邊玩。

在沙灘上玩耍≠play on the beach
on the beach=在沙灘上(具體的位置就在沙灘上)
at the beach=在海邊的範圍 (包括海水和沙灘)
eg：Let's hang out at the beach
讓我們去沙灘玩耍吧！
hang out=出去玩，出去浪
play比較適合小孩子，成人說play together,有可能被誤會哦

bask in the sun=(坐著或者躺著）享受曬太陽
eg：I'm basking in the sun on the beach

catch the sun=（不情願的）曬太陽
淋雨也可以用catch這個單詞，catch the rain
