moron: a very offensive word for someone who you think is very stupid 蠢人，傻子，笨蛋
poke: to quickly push your finger or some other pointed object into something or someone 戳，捅，刺
gummy: sticky or covered in glue 黏性的，涂胶的 gummy bear 就是熊形状的QQ糖
rip: to remove something quickly and violently, using your hands 猛力扯去
barstool: 酒吧高脚凳，高脚软垫圆凳
rip someone off someone's barstool 就是把某人从高脚凳上扯下来；
head out: 启程，出发:
He headed out to London. 他启程去伦敦了。
"We're about to head out to see what we can find." （我们要外出，去看看我们能发现什么）----CNN News
folks: You can refer to your close family, especially your mother and father, as your folks. 家人
I've been avoiding my folks lately. 我最近一直在避开家人。
"You guys aren't spending Thanksgiving with your folks?" （你们不和家人一起过感恩节了吗？）----美剧《新飞跃比弗利》
