Today, Global Chinese from ZTV-World presents you a Gloriosa superba from China, Ms. Wang Jianhong, and her fascinating stories yet to be told.
王建红，津巴布韦浙江商会首任会长。她就像一朵嘉兰花，温柔又坚强、热情而美丽，为促进中非贸易合作不懈努力。
As the first President of Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Zimbabwe,Ms. Wang Jianhongresembled a Gloriosa superba - gentle, strong, enthusiastic and beautiful. She has made unremitting efforts to promote China-Africa trade cooperation.
嘉兰（Gloriosa Superba），津巴布韦国花。花型奇特，犹如燃烧的火焰，艳丽而高雅；花色变幻多样。花名来源于拉丁的“惊叹”“美丽”之意。
Gloriosa superba is the national flower of Zimbabwe. The flower resembles burning flames, extravagant yet graceful. The name “Gloriosa superba” came from Latin words, which could be translated to “surprising” and “beautiful”.
从杭州到非洲
艰苦创业二十年
二十年前，王建红还只是一个小丫头，她只身一人背起行囊来到津巴布韦，从此就没有离开过。这个大学里曾经是物理系高材生的工科女孩，身上总是透着一股倔强而坚韧的劲儿。
Twenty years ago, when Ms. Wang Jianhong was only a little girl, she left her hometown and came to Zimbabwe on her own; and she has not left Zimbabwe since then. She used to be a top engineering student in the physics department when she was in college, and she had an unyielding and tenacious character.
津巴布韦的阳光伴随着她的辛苦奔忙，也伴随着她找到了生命的另一半。 王建红和丈夫一起开办了一家服装厂。那时候两个人聚少离多，轮流奔波于中国和津巴布韦之间。
Her hard work was accompanied by the abundant Zimbabwe sunshine, and the sunshine also aided in her process of finding her significant other. Ms. Wang Jianhong started a clothing factory and embarked on a challenging journey to entrepreneurship with her husband. It was not easy for either of them; they had to take turns traveling between China and Zimbabwe.

最困难的时候，工厂产品断档了，王建红就自己打版出样，咬着牙坚持下去，她觉得不能让这些同甘共苦的工人兄弟姐妹失去工作。二十年，她和她的非洲朋友建立起了深厚的友谊。
In difficult times, when the factory's products went out of stock, Ms. Wang Jianhong studied the model for production by herself and refused to stop the manufacturing process. She also did not want to let her fellow workers, who also went through plenty of struggle, to lose their jobs again. She befriended her African colleagues and developed deep friendships with her business partners.

从生意到事业
助力共享发展
二十年的风雨历炼，王建红以超出常人想象的坚毅、豁达和亲和得到了当地华侨华人的一致认可。2016年5月，她被推选为津巴布韦浙江商会首任会长。随后，王建红全身心地投入到中非合作的事业中。
Twenty years of perseverance, Ms. Wang Jianhong acquired a recognition from the local Chinese with her unsurmountable fortitude, magnanimous mind and her affinity with others. In May of 2016, she was elected as the first president of Zimbabwe Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce, and she fully devoted herself into the China-Zimbabwe cooperative businesses thereafter.

浙商津巴布韦投资分享会、“一带一路浙商在行动”、2017中国(浙江)—津巴布韦贸易投资洽谈会、2018年浙江代表团访津……她的身影一次又一次的出现在为促进中非合作的活动中。今年11月，王建红和商会伙伴们还打算在浙江举办中国（浙江）—津巴布韦旅游文化推介活动，让大家了解津巴布韦文化艺术和旅游资源，也让更多的浙江人走进津巴布韦。
She showed up in activities like investment sharing session, “Belt and Road Zhejiang merchants in action”, 2017 China (Zhejiang)-Zimbabwe Trade and Investment Symposium, and joined in the coordination work for Zhejiang Provincial Delegation’s visit to Zimbabwe in 2018 and so on. In November of this year, Ms. Wang Jianhong and her partners in the Chamber will hold the China (Zhejiang)-Zimbabwe Tourism and Culture Week and Business Forum in Zhejiang, promoting Zimbabwean tourism resources through cultural communication and exchange. We hope that this activity could also bring more people from Zhejiang to Zimbabwe.

作为最早一批在津巴布韦创业的浙商，王建红以女性特有的温柔和坚强感染着身边的每一个人，也希望能帮助更多的家乡企业对接津巴布韦广阔的资源，共同创造发展机遇。
As one of the first Zhejiang businesswomen who started career in Zimbabwe, Ms. Wang Jianhong has influenced everyone around her with her unique tenderness and strength. She also hopes to encourage more enterprises from Zhejiang to start business in Zimbabwe, a country endowed with abundant resources, and to facilitate sustainable development for a shared future.

《“浙江与非洲”——津巴布韦系列旅游宣传片》是津巴布韦与中国浙江双方政府高访交流之后，在当地开展的第一个大型广电文化合作项目，对于重塑津巴布韦地区性旅游大国地位具有重要意义，也是我省参与服务“一带一路”倡议、促进中非交流合作走深走实，精准聚焦主动服务的具体体现。
As the first large-scale broadcast media cooperative project conducted after the exchange of visits between Chinese and Zimbabwean governments, the filming and production of "Zhejiang and Africa" series by China Zhejiang Radio & TV Group (ZRTG) will have a considerable significance of reshaping Zimbabwe’s tourism industry. It also demonstrates Zhejiang people’s great efforts to participate in the "Belt and Road" initiative, and to promote China-Africa cooperation with precise focus and proactive measures.
