“请出示您的护照和入境卡”英语怎么说？
人们都以为用中文学英语才是学英语，却根本不具备用英语学英语、理解英语和表达英语的能力。
这才是我们学习英语最短板的地方，也是我们的英语学来学去学不好，英语“只学不用”的根本原因。
看以下英语“对话”：
Officer：Welcome to Chicago.May I have your passport and your entry form?
Grant：Here you are.
Officer：Please show me your Customs Declaration.
Grant：Here you are.
就是这么一个短短的简单英语，估计你是立马“用”中文学习其中的英语表达May I have your passport and your entry form和Please show me your Customs Declaration了，并分别得到两句中文(我这里就不“翻译”了)。
你“用”了英语吗？
你“学”英语却不“用”英语，这不是很矛盾的吗？
要把英语“用起来”才是我们学英语的王道。
读到May I have your passport and your entry form和Please show me your Customs Declaration后，你应该具备如下“使用”英语的能力：
1.Okay.I got you.When say：May I have your passport and your entry form, we can also say：Please show me your passport and entry form.
So,May I have something means Please show me something.
这就叫做“用英语理解英语”，把学过的英语用起来，而不是把中文用起来。
同理：Well,got you.When we say：Please show me your Customs Declaration,we can also say：May I have your Customs Declaration?
你缺的不是学英语，你缺的是不能用英语学英语。
此为例证之一。
