譚樂丹，男，1960年出生於北京，1989年考入中央美術學院中國畫系，從師於許靜峽，蔣兆和等國內書畫名家。現為中國美術家協會理事，國家一級美術師。2001年出版《譚樂丹畫集》，其畫虎馬在充分吸取古代名家成就的基礎上，通過多年努力，反覆研究前人法理和自然神韻，獨開蹊徑，自成一家，在虎馬畫的成就受到國內外名家的高度讚譽。

Tan Ledan, male, born in Beijing in 1960, was admitted to the Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1989.
