Summit
The 2nd International Translingual Thinking Summit of Being Communication: Affection· Cognition· Design is a grand interdisciplinary event bringing together thinkers and philosophers, researchers and scholars, specialists and experts on Technology, New Media, Linguistic Philosophy, History, Economics, International Relations, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, even Physics and Neurosciences. Inclusive as the Summit is, it puts strong emphasis on the reflection of impact of technology on our daily life. The 2nd Summit is about the translingual discussion on the AI-Human Harmony from perspectives of affection, cognition and design.
Out of concerns on human being and the future, people unceasingly pursing the nature of the world, the meaning of life and the virtue of humanity. The 2nd International Translingual Thinking Summit of Being Communication is calling papers that study challenges and opportunities of individual, organization and society centering the Big Data, AI, Wisdom Building, Platform Society.
Topics
We welcome papers that discuss theoretical or methodological issues as well as empirical case studies from trans-discipline perspectives. Specifically, we invite contributions that consider:
Topic 1: Being Communication and Generativity, Historicity
Topic 2: Platform Society and Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms Power
Topic 3: City Architecture, Wisdom Space and Lifestyle
Topic 4: Cross-media Narrative and Affection, Embodiment (Indigenous) knowledge
In addition to the above-mentioned topics, we welcome all insightful papers devoted to the sublimation of technology, life and social development.
Submissions
Abstracts of max. 500 words (for research-in-progress), full papers (for completed projects) and panel proposals (max. 4 papers; 400 words panel description & 150 word abstract of each paper) should be submitted via [email protected] by March 20, 2019. Submissions will be blind reviewed.
This summit will take place at Peking University in Beijing, The China. Keynote speakers will be announced on April 10,2019. Any questions may be addressed to ZhuoMa([email protected]) or LiKun([email protected]).
Book Projects
The conference organizers work towards the publication of a book of Being Communication: Affection·Cognition·Design. Submissions for the conference will also be considered (in adapted form) for publication in the book, and discussions during the conference will be geared towards preparing the publication.
徵稿啟事|第二屆跨語際生命傳播思想峰會
基於人對自身與未來的關切和擔憂，生活在不同時空中的人們，不約而同地展開了對世界本質、生命意義以及人性完善的追問。
立足當下，面對人工智能、大數據、平臺化、媒介化等已然凸顯的社會現實，單一的學科或知識已很難釐清這些問題並給出指引性建言；面對以人工智能為代表的新技術，技術倫理中“人的獨特性在哪裡”“何以為人”等關鍵問題是每一個朝向未來的學科必須探討的議題，對這些問題開展深入而持久的探討是人類對自身命運本應承擔的責任。
萬物皆媒中未來已來。由此，跨語際生命傳播將視閾聚焦於大數據、人工智能、綠色建築、平臺社會等具象化的社會事實，從歷史性、生成性、媒介敘事、情感、日常生活、技術倫理等關鍵詞出發，以跨學科方式直面個體、組織與社會面臨的機遇與挑戰，在異質性與差異性不斷增強的當下，以智慧與技術，探索解決具體社會問題的道路，探討社會有機團結如何達成。
第二屆跨語際生命傳播思想峰會旨在提供一個開放、包容的探索與創造平臺，擬邀請各界人士以“生命”為始點，展開跨文理基礎研究，相互激發，圍繞“情感·認知·設計”提出一些具有原創性、創新性、思想性的觀點與建言，以生命傳播視閾呼應時代的變遷。

徵 稿 對 象
第二屆跨語際生命傳播思想峰會向各學科、各領域人士徵集峰會論文，並歡迎海內外在讀碩士與博士研究生向本次大會提交論文。論文作者將受邀參加第二屆跨語際生命傳播思想峰會並於會上宣讀論文，入選論文將作為第二本《生命傳播：情感·認知·設計》論文集優選論文。

徵 稿 要 求
1.論文應符合學術規範，具有創新性的視角與見解，使用較新文獻資料。
2.所投稿件應為作者最新研究成果，未曾在其他刊物公開發表過。請作者遵循學術規範和道德，不得抄襲、剽竊他人的研究成果。
3.論文原則上以6000-10000字為宜。
4.論文格式參見附錄。
5.來稿應註明作者姓名、職稱、通訊地址、郵編、電話及電子郵箱。
6.來稿附件請用Word文件，以電子郵件形式提交至:[email protected]。郵件主題統一使用“論文標題+作者名”。
7.收到稿件後，峰會組委會（認為基本符合要求但仍需修改的）會主動與作者聯繫。如投稿後30個工作日內未收到峰會組委會意見，可對稿件自行處理。

1.第二屆跨語際生命傳播思想峰會論文提交截止日期：2019年3月20日。
2.論文入選及參會與否將在2019年4月10日前告知作者，本組委會及將發放峰會邀請函，正式邀請可參會發表論文的作者。
