省略句：
1， 冠詞的省略
Are a teacher or （a）worker ？你是一個老師還是一個工人
2， Are they the teacher and the worker 他們一個是老師，一個是工人
3， 家庭成員或者親屬前面：
Mum can cook food for me媽媽能為我做米飯
4， 表示職位，頭銜，稱呼的前面
He is elected chairman of the students' union 他被選為學生會的主席
2介詞的省略：
1， for的省略，表示一段時間時
He has been here （for）many years 他已經到這裡很多年了
2， He hasn't been here for many years 他已經不在這裡很多年了
3， For five days he has been here 他到這裡已經五天了
2，在名詞如morning，afternoon，night 等詞之前有any，every，next等詞修飾的時候，要省略
I will be here （in）next week 我將會在下週來這裡
4， 在in表示方式的時候，可以省略，通常和way 搭配
You can solve it （in）this way 你可以用這個方式來解決它
5， of的省略，通常表示，大小，長短，深淺，重量，年齡，顏色，材料的時候
Your bag is （of ）the same color as mine 你的包和我的包是一樣的顏色
6， of 後面有從句，或者不定式的時候
I haven't solve the problem （of）who was at the fault 我沒有解決誰的過失的問題
To的省略：
1， 在near to ，或者nearest to 的時候
I sit near （to ）the window 我坐在窗戶的旁邊
2， opposite to 表示對面的時候
You sit opposite me 你坐在我的對面
At的省略，在at about。。。。o'clock 時
We play games about seven o'clock 我們大概在七點玩遊戲
Both 後面of的省略
Both （of）books are good 兩本書都很好
Both us are good 我們兩個都很好
詞組搭配需要省略：
Have difficutly（in）doing sth 做某事有困難
There's no sense/ point(in) doing sth 做某事沒有意義
Spend。。。。（in）doing sth 花費做某事
Waste。。。（in）doing sth 浪費做某事
Be busy （in ）doing sth 忙於做某事
Be occupied （in）doing sth 忙於做某事
Have a good time （in）doing sth 做某事很愉快
End up。。。（by）doing 以做某事結束
連詞
1， He is not only beautiful，but he is tall 他不僅漂亮，而且很高
2， Whether he can come here（or not）is a question 他是否能來是一個問題
3，I run fast so (that) I can catch the bus 我跑得快是為了趕上這個巴士
4，I hope（that）you can be better 我希望你能更好
3， 句子成分的省略：
主語省略：
1， 祈使句
（You）open the door 你打開門
2，（You）had a good time，didn't you 你玩得開心麼？
3，（It）Looks like rain 天好像要下雨了。
並列主語的時候：
1， They played football，（they）watched TV and （they）worked together 他在一起踢足球，看電視，一起工作
其他情況：強調句
It is I（who）need your computer 就是我需要你的電腦
謂語的省略：
1， He can do read books，but I can't （read books）他能讀書，但是我不能
2， He speaks English very well，but I just a little 他能說很好的英語，但是我只能一點點
口語中助動詞的省略：
1， You（are ）doing very well 你做得很好
2， What （are）you doing ？你在做什麼？
表語的省略：
He is excited about the books but I am not 他對這本書很興奮，但是我不是
The house is the most expensive（ house）to buy 這個房子是買得最貴的。
A second in the morning means two（seconds） in the afternoon
早上的一秒鐘等於下午的兩秒鐘
系動詞的省略：口語中的省略
（Is）Everyone here ？每個人都到這裡了麼？
賓語的省略：在多個謂語動詞後面同時跟一個賓語的時候
I bought（the book），put down（the book）and read the book
當出現，pay，owe 等詞彙的雙賓語時，可以省略一個
I can pay（the money）for you 我能付錢給您
定語的省略：
1，I have nice water and （nice）food 我有很好的水和很好的食物
3， He is an artist （of the country）and writer of the country 他是這個國家裡的藝術家和作家
狀語的省略：
Return （as） soon as possible 儘快回來
He is so tall， （how）strange 他很高，好奇怪！
句子的省略：
1， 主謂結構的省略： 主語+系動詞，主語+整個謂語，主語+助動詞
How are you ？（Everything is）very well ，thanks 你好麼？一切都很好，謝謝！
What a big city （it is ）！多麼大的一個城市
（I will）see you next time 下次見
Can you read the books ？你能讀這本書麼？
Yes ，I can （read the books）是的，我能讀這本書
從句的省略：
You have been better this time （than you were before）你比以前好了很多。
Where is my book？ 我的書在哪裡？
How do I know？（where your book is）我怎麼知道你的書在哪裡?
整句的省略：
Are you OK？你還好麼？
Yes！是的（I am OK）
Are you going to Beijing？你要去北京？
No，（I am not going to Beijing）
保留句子部分：
How do you like the movie？你怎麼認為這部電影？
（I like the movie）very much 我非常喜歡這部電影
Who is he？他是誰？
My brother 我的兄弟
習慣上的省略：
（1）當if ，when，where，whenever，wherever 連用的習慣用語，
If（it is）possible，come to visit me如果可能，來拜訪我！
Whenever （it is ）necessary，you can ask me for help 無論何時有需要，都可以找我尋求幫助
（2），as。。。as possible的結構
I can do （as）much as possible 我儘可能做多點
（3,）if only的句式，要是。。。就好
If only I knew your name 要是我能知道你的名字就好了
（4）what if 的句式 即使。。。。怎麼辦
What if I can't find my book ？要是我不能找到我的書改怎麼辦？
（5）what about/how about句式
I don't like apples，（What about） you？我不喜歡蘋果，你呢？
（6）Why/why not 的句式，表建議或者反問
（Why）cry？it doesn't work為什麼哭？沒有效果的
I can't find my book here ，（why not）try to look for somewhere else 我不能再這裡找到我的書，你為什麼不嘗試在其他地方試試。
（7）How come 表示對事情不理解如何發生，希望得到解釋
You have been in the city for five years，how come you get lost here？你在這裡已經五年了，你怎麼能在這裡迷路？
