PS:當然,I'm shy 在一定語境下,也是"我害羞"的意思,但是,一般說自己害羞,後邊會加名詞,比如,I'm a shy girl.
02.I'm work-shy是什麼意思?
work-shy=討厭工作的 (不想工作,想偷懶)
camera-shy=討厭鏡頭的
He's not ill; he's just work-shy!
他沒病，只是想偷懶！
She is a bit camera-shy.
她有點討厭鏡頭。
03.Shy竟然還有這層含義!
如果shy用來形容動物,可不是說某個動物害羞,而是說它害怕人靠近,這裡shy=unwilling to be near people,比如
A shy deer=一頭害怕人的鹿
The deer were shy and hid behind some trees.
那些鹿害怕人，都藏在樹後。
Shy也可以作動詞,指馬容易受到驚嚇而失控.
Shy=(馬)受驚,驚退
There's a lot of traffic on the road
