Hanan has worked forthe Egyptian branch of the China State Construction EngineeringCorporation for the past 31 years. She joined the company when shewas 22, and has witnessed almost every step of the country'sdevelopment.
今年是哈南在中國建築埃及分公司工作的第31個年頭。從22歲入職至今，她親歷了中國建築在埃及發展的每一步。
Hanan began hercareer in the management department of the company after shegraduated from Cairo University in 1987. She took a job at thecompany because of her ambition to learn more about the world outsideher country.
1987年，哈南從開羅大學畢業，她進入中國建築埃及經理部工作。她加入公司的原因在於她想更多地瞭解國外的世界。
I leant in collegethat Chinese people are known for their diligence and enthusiasm.Working in a Chinese company was a new experience for me and so Igrasped the opportunity.
“在上學時我就瞭解到中國人民是勤勞而熱情的，進入中國企業工作對我來說是一種全新的經歷，最終我抓住了這個機會。”
When she started outat the company, she faced an uphill battle dealing with culturaldifferences and language barriers. But thanks to the help of herChinese colleagues, the situation gradually changed.
剛步入中國企業工作的哈南由於文化差異，在語言交流方面遇到了不少困難。但在中國同事的幫助下，這些難題化繁為簡。
Hanan says that'swhat impressed her most about working at the Chinese company. Ithought working at the China State Construction EngineeringCorporation would be complicated.
哈南說，這是她在這家中國公司工作過程中印象最深的事情。“最初我覺得在中建的工作很複雜，
But my Chinesecolleagues kept encouraging me, and that motivated me to work hard.Hanan has been with the company as it tackled many major projects inEgypt over the years, including the 6th of October City, Sadat City,the Cairo International Convention & Exhibition Centre, and theNew Administrative Capital's Central Business District.
是我的中國朋友不斷鼓勵我，讓我有動力堅持到了今天。”從十月六號城、薩達特城、開羅國際會議中心到如今在建的埃及新首都中央商務區，哈南隨中國建築參與了在埃及的多個重點工程建設。
Hanan said she'sfortunate to have been able to witness the development of theseprojects from beginning to end by working side-by-side with hercolleagues from China. Some of my peers in Egypt don't look for jobopportunities after they get married.
哈南認為自己是足夠幸運的，能夠與中國同事一起工作，見證這些項目的建設。“與我同齡的一些埃及朋友早早地結婚，在家中相夫教子，不再外出工作。
But I made my owndecision, and joined China State Construction EngineeringCorporation. During this process, I can keep improving myself while Iwork.
但我決定加入中建工作。在這個過程中，我可以不斷提高自己。”
Hanan believes theNew Administrative Capital's CBD project that her company is workingon will become a new symbol of friendship between the Chinese andEgyptian people. The two countries enjoy broad prospects foreconomic, cultural, and social cooperation.
哈南認為新首都中央商務區項目會成為見證中埃友誼長存的又一座豐碑。“中埃合作在經濟、文化、社會層面都具有廣闊的前景。
China's support toEgypt, including through the Belt and Road Initiative, contributes toour country's growth and prosperity. As Hanan's story shows, the Beltand Road is about more than building bridges and roads.
包括‘一帶一路’倡議在內，中國為埃及發展給予的支持使我們有能力也有責任為自己的國家帶來繁榮。”哈南的故事說明，“一帶一路”不僅僅是築路建橋。

Official statsshowed that China's economy grew by 6.4 percent year-on-year in thefirst quarter, matching the growth rate recorded in the fourthquarter of last year.
官方數據顯示，今年第一季度，中國經濟同比增長6.4%，與上年四季度相比持平。
Mao Shengyong withthe national statistics bureau said the figure shows the steadyprogress of China's economy. The national economy enjoyed a stableperformance with positive growth factors and stronger marketexpectations and confidence,
國家數據統計局新聞發言人毛盛勇表示，這一數據體現了中國經濟的穩步增長。“國家經濟表現穩定，積極因素逐漸增多，市場預期和信心也在增強，
sustaining themomentum of progress in overall stability. According to thepreliminary estimation, China's GDP was 21.34 trillion yuan, about3.18 trillion U. S. dollars, in the first quarter.
保持了穩中向好的勢頭。初步核算，一季度國內生產總值213433億元，約合3.18萬倔美元，
That represents anincrease of 6.4 percent year-on-year, but 0.4 percentage points lowerthan the same period last year and 0.2 percentage points lower than2018.
按可比價格計算，同比增長6.4%，比上年同期和全年分別回落0.4和0.2個百分點。”
The data suggestsconsumption has played a prominent role in driving growth. Growth wasalso recorded in investment and foreign trade in the first threemonths of the year.
數據顯示，消費在推動增長方面發揮了突出作用。今年前三個月的投資和外貿方面增長也在數據上有所體現。
Consumptioncontributed more than 60 percent of the economic growth, and it keepsupgrading. In terms of the investment structure, overall investmentcontinues to recover.
“消費對經濟增長的貢獻率在60%以上，消費升級的步伐繼續往前走。從投資結構來看，投資整體延續小幅回升的勢頭，
Investment intechnological upgrading, high-tech industries, the social sector, andsome weak areas has maintained a relatively fast growth. These haveall added momentum to future development.
技術改造投資、高技術產業投資、社會領域投資、一些短板領域投資等等都持續保持較快增長，這為未來發展增添了後勁。
In foreign trade,the proportion of imports and exports in general trade rose by 1.3percentage points year-on-year. Throughout the first quarter, theemployment rate remained stable
再看外貿，一般貿易進出口的比重比上年同期提高1.3個百分點。”第一季度就業率保持穩定，
with the number ofnewly created urban jobs reaching almost 30 percent of the annualtarget. People's income also grew, with per capita disposable incomeincreasing by 6.8 percent year-on-year, outpacing the growth in GDP.
城鎮新增加就業人數接近全年目標的30%。居民收入也有所增加，人均可支配收入同比增長6.8%，增速超過GDP。
Authoritiesattribute the growth in China's economy to the policies of reform andopening up as well as tax cuts. Meantime, spokesman Mao Shengyongsuggested steps be taken to prevent internal and external risks fromimpacting economy stability.
官方表示，中國經濟的增長要歸功於改革開放政策和減稅政策。同時，發言人毛盛勇表示，國家要進一步採取措施，防控可能影響經濟穩定的內外部風險。
Generally speaking,the national economy performed within an appropriate range in thefirst quarter, which laid a sound foundation for stable and healthyeconomic development for the whole year.
“總的來看，一季度國民經濟繼續運行在合理區間，為全年經濟穩定健康發展打下良好基礎。
However, at the sametime we should also be aware that, given slowing global economicgrowth and international trade, increasing internationaluncertainties, and prominent domestic structural issues,
但也要看到，全球經濟增長和國際貿易有所放緩，外部不確定性因素較多，國內結構性矛盾仍比較突出，
the task of reformand development is arduous and economic pressure still persists. Daysago, the International Monetary Fund adjusted its expectations forChina's annual GDP growth from 6.2 to 6.3 percent.
改革發展任務艱鉅，經濟下行壓力猶存。”幾天前，國際貨幣基金組織將今年中國經濟增長預期從6.2%調高到6.3。
