分数的表达法
(1)分数由基数词和序数词组成。分子用基数词，分母用序数词，分子大于1，分母加 s
one third
三分之一
two thirds
三分之二
one fifth
五分之一
five eighths
八分之五
(2)当分子是1时，可以用 one，也可以用 a
a third=one third
三分之一
(3)带分数，在分数前加整数再加 and
two and three fourths
二又四分之三
five and three ninths
五又九分之三
(4)表示几分之几的人或物时，要用介词 of
若作主语，谓语动词与 of 后的名词的人称和数一致
One third of the students in our class have been to the Great Wall.
我们班1/3的学生去过长城。
Four fifths of the water is drunk by the children.
4/5的水被孩子们喝了。
(5)当分母是2或4时，可以用 half 和 quarter 代替
a half
二分之一
a quarter
四分之一
注意：
1/3的学生
应译为 one third of the students，而不能译为 one third students
