今天是元宵節，英語怎麼說？難道是“Yuanxiao Festival”？其實，元宵節也有這麼翻譯成Yuanxiao Festival的，不過，老外一般不這麼說。
“元宵節”英語怎麼說？
元宵節有燈展，猜燈謎，老外根據這一特色，稱元宵節為“燈籠節”，Lantern Festival。也可以說：Chinese Lantern Festival，lantern，就是“燈籠”的意思。
例：
Lantern Festival is an important traditional occasion, falling on the 15th day of the first month on the lunar calendar.
元宵節是一個重要的傳統節日，農曆正月十五。
“湯圓”英語怎麼說？
1、元宵節有吃湯圓的傳統，“湯圓”可以直接說：Chinese Tang Yuan
2、老外把所有面皮包餡的食物都稱作：dumpling，比如餃子、包子等，湯圓也不例外。所以“湯圓”也可以用dumpling。
3、老外也把“湯圓”叫作“glue pudding”。glue是“膠水”，pudding是“布丁”，老外覺得吃湯圓就像是在吃膠水布丁。
