be that 提前倒裝，正常語序：as it may be that. 但英語中as 必須用在倒裝句才表示讓步。
Child as he is ,he knows a lot. 儘管他還是個孩子，他懂得卻很多。
Try as he might. he failed . 儘管他努力了，他還是失敗了。
=Try though he might, he failed.
=Although/Though he might try , he failed.
