【用法】
① believe that+從句：
I believe that he is innocent.
我相信他是無辜的。
② believe 接從句如有否定含義，通常不否定後面而否定believe, 這樣的詞還有 think, imagine, expect等：
I don't believe he is in at the moment.
我相信他此刻不在家裡。
【搭配或短語】
① believe sb. (sth. ):
I always believe what he says.
我總相信他說的話。
2 believe sb. (to be)+形容詞：
I believe him(to be)innocent. w
我相信他是無辜的。
【辨析】
believe 表示“相信事物的真實性或人的誠實等”， 而believe in 則表示對人的信任，對真理,宗教等的信仰：
I believe him. =I believe what he says,
我相信他說的話。
I believe in him. =I believe that he is a good man.
我信任他（為人可靠）。
那麼“相信特朗普”應該這麼說：
We believe in Donald Trump.
“相信特朗普說的話”這樣表達：
We believe Donald Trump.
