英語中有許多有趣的idioms，就像我們中文裡面很多成語用法一樣。如果放在我們的日常口語，或者寫作之中，會讓我們的整個表達更加生動有趣。

1、is A lone wolf：Some one who does not mix socially with other people. 指不合群或者喜歡單獨行動的人
A: Jack never seems to want to hang out with other people.
傑克看起來不太想跟其他人出去玩。
B: Yup. He is a lone wolf.
是的，他不喜往來（孤僻的人）。
2、is a party animal: Someone who loves parties and socializing. 指派對達人，喜歡參加各種聚會的社交狂。
Max is really a party animal. I can hardly see him stay at home at night!
Max真是個十足的社交狂，晚上在家幾乎不見他的人毛兒！
和party animal有差不多意思的idioms還有：social butterfly社交花蝴蝶，特指擅長社交的人。
3，is a cold fish：someone who is not very friendly and does not show their feelings.冷酷無情的人，冷漠的人。
He is such a cold fish! He never go back home to see his parent! 他真冷漠無情！他從來不回家看他父母呢！
這裡的 he is a cold fish= he is cold-blooded.他真冷血！兩者有異曲同工之妙。
