这是一封特殊的来信，当疫情肆虐的时候，一位曾任新加坡外交部科学顾问的异国朋友联络我说：“可否请你帮忙翻译一篇我写的文章，以表达对中国人民的支持。”我欣然接受，并表达了感激之情，于是有了如下的内容。
谨以此篇向所有关心、支持中国的外国友人致敬，武汉加油！中国加油！

China has pulled together remarkably to show solidarity
Our normally bustling, noisy, dynamic and exciting Country has been silent for several days now. The discipline of China residents is impressive & Impeccable, following the advice to stay home and beat the Corona virus, families are adopting the recommended measures.
People are united in this massive effort to kill this virus by limiting its opportunities to spread. This is not imposed quarantine but voluntary and good-natured compliance to common sense advice. Of course it’s a little boring being stuck at home but there is a lot of humour circulating between us about that which helps.
Apart from those westerners airlifted out of Wuhan, there are still thousands of foreign nationals like us here supporting this amazing effort to get China through this scary and challenging time.
The outbreak of Coronavirus changed many lives in China profoundly during this unusual Chinese New Year time. Indian friends and companies are also making coordinated efforts and significant contributions to the battle against Novel Coronavirus. Many Indian companies are Contributing medical supplies and donations to fight against the epidemic.
Whenever a crisis/difficulty comes the real vigour, commitment, conviction and coordination to face the situation will evolve inspite of adverse and diverse circumstances.
Wuhan virus only can quench the immunity of people, but not our Strength to fight against it.
I truly amazed by the effective collaboration and hardwork of the people here to face the situation.
I am so surprised about the amazing work and pride of engineers and the construction field about their ability & agility for the complete establishment of hospitals in Wuhan from Scratch to serviceable.
The contribution of Medical staff across country deployed to help the crisis in wuhan, we wish the safe return of this real heros back to their beloved ones, God bless these amazing people.
Chinese Government, Indian Embassy and Employer of china is supporting in best possible ways for the expat to combat the situation, we sincerely thanks to all of them for their extended support.
They are periodically monitoring our well being and comfort here and provided in the form of Letters to the foreign friends in Multiple provinces in china mainland.
They supportive statements will certainly enhance our morale.
We have coordinating along with friends in other provinces for discussing with Indian distributors for arranging medical supplies to the people and medical workers of China to safeguard.
We pray for the city that provides us with safe jobs, study and trade environment. This city is called our second home. We pray for the Chinese people who are fighting against the virus. We pray for everyone's safety.

加油!中国！你依旧坚不可摧！
中国人民在世界的瞩目下彰显了团结
我们所在的这个平时熙熙攘攘、喧嚣而又充满活力的、令人充满惊喜的国家，已经陷入沉积好几天了。中国人民的纪律性令人深深感慨，无可辩驳。他们按照建议“宅”在家里抵御冠状病毒，家庭采取了建议的措施。
人们团结在一起，力所能及通过限制病毒传播途径来消灭这种病毒。这不是强制隔离，而是自愿的、遵循善意建议的常识。当然，或许呆在家里有点无聊，但我们之间充满了乐观与幽默的因子，这对我们大有裨益。
除了撤离武汉的西方人，还有成千上万像我们一样的外国人，在这里以聚沙成塔的努力，支持帮助中国度过这个可怕而又充满挑战的时期。
冠状病毒的到来，使得这个春节变得异乎寻常。它的爆发深刻地改变了中国许多人的生活。印度的朋友和公司也在协同努力，为抗击新型冠状病毒做出重大贡献。许多印度公司正在提供医疗用品和捐款来对抗传染病毒。
无论情势多么严酷，面对这一局势的斗志、承诺、信念和合作的信条从不颠覆，愈挫愈勇。
病毒只能灭掉人的免疫力，却不能磨灭我们抗击它的斗志。
我惊叹于中国人民面对棘手情况所展现的团结一致合作与奋斗。
从集结到建成武汉医院，“基建狂魔”工程师与建筑工人的快速反应及高效，让我震惊并骄傲无比。
医务工作者从各地援驰帮助武汉度过危机，我们希望英雄平安凯旋，上帝保佑这些了不起的人。
中国政府、印度驻华使馆、中国雇主正以最积极的方式支持有关人员抗击疫情，我们衷心感谢他们的大力支持。他们定期关注我们在这里的生活和舒适，并以信件的形式传达信息给中国大陆多个省份的外国朋友。他们的支持，毋庸置疑提振了我们的信心。
我们与其他省份的朋友、与印度经销商协商，为中国人民和医务工作者提供医疗用品保障。
这个为我们提供安全的工作、学习和贸易环境的城市，被我们誉为第二故乡。我们为与病毒对抗的中国人民祈祷，祈祷人人平安。
