上两周才刚发表完特殊演讲的女王奶奶，在复活节到来之际又向全国人民发去了特别的问候 ，鼓励人们“新冠病毒不会击败我们”、“光明终将驱散黑暗”。
这是女王奶奶一个月内第三次给全英人民传递信息。
此前，女王于3月19日给全英人民留言，鼓励人们“团结一致，携手努力”，“每一个个体发挥其至关重要的作用”；
并于4月5日发表在位期间第五次电视讲话赞扬关键岗位工作人员，感谢民众遵循政府规定待在家中，表示“美好的日子终将会回来的，我们将会与家人朋友重逢”。
而在2020年的复活节，新冠疫情依旧肆虐，全英所有教堂的复活节庆祝活动取消，女王的复活节问候在这一“至暗时刻”再一次给全国人民带来温暖、力量和希望。
Many religions have festivals which celebrate light overcoming darkness. Such occasions are often accompanied by the lighting of candles. They seem to speak to every culture, and appeal to people of all faiths, and of none. They are lit on birthday cakes and to mark family anniversaries, when we gather happily around a source of light. It unites us.
许多宗教都有庆祝光明驱散黑暗的节日。这种节日场合通常会点燃蜡烛。这种仪式似乎出现在各种文化里，吸引着所有有宗教信仰和没有宗教信仰的人。蜡烛也在生日蛋糕上和家庭的各种纪念日被点燃，我们快乐地围绕在光源周围。它将我们团结在一起。
As darkness falls on the Saturday before Easter Day, many Christians would normally light candles together. In church, one light would pass to another, spreading slowly and then more rapidly as more candles are lit. It’s a way of showing how the good news of Christ’s resurrection has been passed on from the first Easter by every generation until now.
主复活日前夕（星期六），当夜幕降临，许多基督徒通常会聚在一起，点燃蜡烛。在教堂里，蜡烛火种开始传递，一点点烛光亮起，开始是缓慢地一处又一处亮起来，然后随着更多蜡烛被点燃，光亮以更快地速度蔓延开来。这象征着基督复活的好消息从第一个复活节一代代传递至今。
This year, Easter will be different for many of us but by keeping apart we keep others safe. But Easter isn’t cancelled; indeed, we need Easter as much as ever. The discovery of the risen Christ on the first Easter Day gave his followers new hope and fresh purpose, and we can all take heart from this.
今年的复活节对于我们许多人来说不同于以往，我们通过分离（而不是相聚），让其他人更安全。复活节如期来临；实际上，我们像以往一样需要复活节。在第一个主复活日，发现基督的复活让门徒们充满希望和新的目标，我们都可以从中得到启示。
We know that coronavirus will not overcome us. As dark as death can be – particularly for those suffering with grief – light and life are greater. May the living flame of the Easter hope be a steady guide as we face the future.
我们知道，冠状病毒不会击败我们。（现实）可以像死亡一般黑暗，尤其是对于那些遭受悲痛之苦的人来说，但光明和和生命更伟大。在我们面对未来时，愿复活节希望的火种永远指引我们的方向。
