Mattress
mattress中文解釋為“床墊”。床墊的大小可分為king(加大雙人床墊)、 queen(雙人床)、king single(加大單人床)及 single(單人床)等。一般兒童房會放單人床墊,其大小為99cm*190cm,雙入床墊也已經在慢慢流行,其大小為198釐米x203釐米。以材質來分,有foam mattress(海綿床墊)、 latex mattress(乳膠床墊)、 spring mattress(彈簧床墊)及 memory foam mattress(記憶海綿床墊)等。
Blanket
blanket中文翻譯為“毯子”, blanket依材質及厚度可分為quilt(棉被)、 duvet(羽絨被)、comforter(棉被)和 electric blanket(電熱毯)等。 comforter為美式英語,duet為英式英語。而“羽絨被”還有其他說法;: down comforter或 feather comforter,傳統的 blanket是用wool(羊毛)制的,因為羊毛保暖及透氣,不傷肌膚,目前市場上的毯子則多為羊毛和棉麻原料混紡製成的。
