pull it all together 指叫人振作起來，共同努力
Her husband was distracted, about to lose his reputation and business if he couldn’t pullittogether.
她的丈夫又整天魂不守舍。 如果他不能振作起來，那麼很快就會失去他的聲譽和生意。
複習一下之前出現過的 pull oneself together，也表示“振作，打起精神來”
2. Don't sell yourself short.
別小瞧自己
這是一個常用固定的短句表達。short 除了有“矮的，短的”意思，還可作為名詞“不足”
Come on, don't sell yourself short, you're very smart.
不要妄自菲薄, 你很聰明的。
Never sell yourself short, but do not set a task for yourself which is utterly ridiculous.
別小看自己的能力.但也別定出一個遙不可及的目標。
3. I'll buy that.
沒錯
我們都知道有很多種方式說“沒錯，我認同，對的”。在口語中，buy用來表示“相信，接受，採納（他人意見）”的頻率跟“購買”一樣多，通常後接 idea或theory

4. That's about the size of it.
差不多就這樣
這句話的關鍵詞是size，跟“尺寸”無關，是口語化的用法指“真相，實情”。that's about the size of it也是常用的短句，尤指確認某人對某個被認為不好的情況所做的評價，大概是這樣，就是這麼一回事，真實情況就是這樣
When leaving home, she got kidnapped. That's about the size of it.
當離開家的時候，她被綁架了，真實情況就是這樣。
5. I need you home at 6:00 right on the dot.
我要你六點整準時回家
dot, 計算單位的“小數點”，on the dot 在點上，即“準時地，準點地，在指定時刻”
They appeared on the dot of 9.50 pm as always.
他們和往常一樣在晚上9點50分準時出現。
The three o'clock train arrived on the dot.
三點鐘那班火車準時到達。
