語法講解
1. 形容詞和副詞的比較級:(結合課本p114)
- 含義:1)大多數形容詞和副詞有三個等級： 原級、比較級、最高級: good – better - best
2) 比較級：表示兩者(人或物)之間的比較。
- 構成:3)加more/(most )~的情況：①.部分雙音節和多音節詞；②.-ed/ing結尾的形容詞；③adj+ly變成的adv.
4)常見雙寫末尾輔音字母的詞: big hot fat thin red wet sad.
- 比較級基本句型：
1)主語+連繫動詞+ adj.（比）+than+比較對象. 如： Lucy is slower than Lily.
2)主語+謂語動詞+adj./adv（比）+ than+ 比較對象. 如：Lucy runs more slowly than Lily.
- 比較對象需保持一致：Her hair is longer than yours.(→your hair)
- 同級比較 :
3) … as+adj./adv.(原級)+as …: “如同…一樣…” 否定句：… not as/so+adj./adv.(原級)+as …: “不如(不及)…”
4) 比較級＋and＋比較級：越來越… Melania talked more and more loudly.梅拉尼婭說話聲音越來越大了.
5)The比較級…,the＋比較級…：越…就越… The more exercise you do, the stronger you’ll be.
6) “Which / Who is + 比較級， A or B？” Which T-shirt is nicer, this one or that one?
7)主語+be+the+比較級+of the（ two ）: 兩者中較…的一個.She was the more hard-working of the twins,.
- 注意事項:
1) 常用the one代單數可數名詞,the ones /those 代替複數名詞,that 代替不可數名詞.
The book here is newer than the one on the desk．
The apples on the tree are fresher than those/the ones in the box.
The weather in Wuhan is hotter than that in Beijing.武漢的天氣比北京熱.
2) 比較級前可用“數詞+名詞” 表示確定的倍數。
I am (5 years) older than him．The room is (3 times) as large as that one.
3)原級常與very, as，so, too, quite，pretty, really等連用。I'm so surprised at it.
4) 比較級常與much, even, far, than, a little, a bit, a lot 等連用.Yaoming is much taller than Hanhan.姚明比韓寒高得多.
5) Than 後的比較狀語結構: He runs faster than me/ I (do).(賓格/主格/句子)
2. You can tell that Lisa really wanted to win, though. 然而，你能看得出麗莎真的想贏。
1)tell :講述： tell a story/lie/joke.
告訴 ：tell sb. sth.(不能為it/them)= tell sth. to sb. ; tell sb. (not) to do sth.
辨別；識別：Can you tell the differences between the twins?
2)though ①adv.意為“然而,但是”，轉折關係，常放於句尾，用逗號隔開（句末補充說明使語氣減弱）
② conj. 雖然；儘管；=although與but 不能同時用在一個句子中.
而however可位於句首、句中或句末，常用逗號隔開。
Jack Ma said he would come, he didn’t, though. 他說他要來，可是並沒有來。
Though/Although Edison has been dead for many years, many people still remember him.
However，You can tell that Trump really wanted to win.不過你可以看出特朗普的確想獲勝.
3. I think friends are like books--- you don’t need a lot of them as long as they’re good.
我認為朋友就像書---不在多而貴在好。
look like : 看起來像（外貌） what does she look like?---She is pretty tall.
be like: 像（性格，外貌） what’s he like? ---He is outgoing/ serious.
as long as 只要；既然，引導條件狀語從句.
4. My best friend helps to brings out the best in me. 我最好的朋友幫我激發出我最好的品質.
bring out :使顯現；使表現出： The dress brings out the color of her skin.
生產；出版： Walkswagen China brings out a new kind of car in 2018.2018年大眾中國又出了一款新車.
bring out the best/worst in sb. 把某人最好(或最壞)的一面表現或顯露出來..
5. I know she cares about me because she’s always there to listen (to me).
我知道她關心我，因為她隨時都能夠聽我傾訴。
1).care:(n) 小心；謹慎 Take care! 當心/保重 Cross the road with care.
2) (v.)介意；在乎（=mind) I don’t care what happens.
3)短語: care about: 關心；在意 如：He doesn’t care about anything people say.
care for①關心；照顧 = take care of或look after②喜歡；想要（否或疑） 如：Would you care for a cup of coffee?
4) be there + for sb. 隨叫隨到；不離左右 如：Parents are always there for children.
+to do sth. 隨時準備幫助 如：She is there to work out the problem.
6. I don’t really care if my friends are the same as me or different.
我真的不介意我的朋友與我一樣還是不同。
1) if: ①是否(賓從=whether)常跟or not連用；如本句.②如果(引導條件狀語從句≠whether)
2) same: ①adj.相同的.同一的. 常用the same+n.(+as)
we go to the same school.(七上p29)
I bought the same car as yours.
②pron.相同的事,一樣的物(特徵). 常用the same (as)...(本課)
Just do the same as me(I do). 跟著我做就行了.
They’re all the same, because they are twins.她們是雙胞胎,所以她們什麼都一樣.
7.They both like sports. 他們倆都喜歡運動。（both：兩個都；用在實動之前，其它動詞之後）
You are both too young. They both speak English.
both of ….+名詞複數 Both of the flowers are beautiful. 兩朵花都很漂亮。
both…and… 兩者都… 反義詞組：neither…nor…兩者都不…
注意：all：都（三者或三者以上）; either:兩者中任一個；every：每個（三者或三者以上）
8. A true friend reaches for your hand and touches your heart.
真正的朋友（在你需要幫助的時候）給你幫助,使你感動。
reach(vt.)到達,抵達： reach /arrive at /get to the school
伸手(去拿)： reach ( out one’s hand) for sth.
與…取得聯繫: How can I reach you?
達到,實現: reach an agreement達成一致
hand引申為”幫助”;heart引申為”情感”
整體記憶:Reach for one’s hand伸手幫某人一把;touch one’s heart感動某人
9. touch :(v) 接觸；觸摸：Don’t touch the paint! 油漆勿碰!
觸動；感動 I was touched/moved by his words. 我被他的話打動了。
(n)接觸；聯繫: keep in /lose touch with sb. 與...保持失去聯繫
get in touch with sb. 與...取得聯繫
10. She made me laugh and feel better. ( laugh at sb. 笑話；取笑某人)
make/let /have sb. do sth. (不帶to)= get sb. to do sth. 讓/使某人做某事
make+賓語+形容詞: 使某人/某事保持某種狀態.如：His words make us happy.
11. It’s not easy for me to make friends. (make friends with sb. 與...交朋友)
It’s+adj.+ for sb.+ to do sth.: 某人做某事怎麼樣. (It是形式主語，to do sth.是真正主語)
12. The most important thing is to learn something new and have fun.
最重要的事情是學習新的東西和過的開心。(不定式作表語,可以與主語位置互換)
13. That’s why I like reading books and I study harder in class.
那是我喜歡讀書和在班上更努力學習的原因。
That’s why+句子：那就是…的原因/那就是為什麼…(why從句為表語從句)
14. I always get better grades than he does.我的成績總是比他好.
grade可數 n.成績/評分等級;年級 Sam is in the second grade.薩姆讀二年級.
does(助動詞do/did)，為了避免重複，可代替上文出現過的實意動詞。
