“学知识”不能说“learn knowledge”！这是错的

皮卡丘教了那么多年英语，发现越是简单的英文越容易犯错，很多同学无法避开中式思维。譬如：“学知识” ≠ learn knowledge

1、 Learn knowledge为什么错？

我们首先重新认识learn这个单词

可见它已经包含“学习知识”的意思，再加“knowledge”就多次一举啦。

想表达：学到很多知识，直接用：I have learnt a lot.

例句：

I have learnt a lot from Pikachu.

我从皮卡丘那里学了很多知识。

2、 “学知识”英语怎么说？

正确表达：get knowledge

例句：

For example, the digital technology and internet provide people with new channels and form to get knowledge.

譬如，数字化技术和互联网，改变了人们学知识的渠道和方式。

3、teach knowledge 也是错的！

teach+具体某项技能/内容

譬如：

I'm teaching English.

我正在教英语。

然而“knowledge ”是很泛的东西，“教知识”则是把知识传授给学生，用到“传授” =pass onto

例句：

We are passing knowledge onto all of the students.

我们给学生传授知识。

4、学英语是learn English 还是 study English？

首先得知道learn 和 study 的区别，learn 强调的是获得知识的结果，偏向于“学会”的意思， study 强调的是学习知识的过程，更偏向于“学习”的意思。

例句：

①I learn English well, because Pikachu is a great teacher.

我英语学得很好，因为皮卡丘是一个好老师。

②I study English, and Pikachu is teaching me.

我在学英语，教我的老师是皮卡丘.

其次learn 更倾向于指，学习一门技能或一种技巧，study 倾向于指课堂上能学习到的知识。

例句：

①He's learning Spanish/to swim.

他在学西班牙语 / 游泳。

②He studied computer science in Fudan University.

他在复旦大学学习计算机科学。

此外，learn 除了“学习”，还有“得知”的意思，study 除了“学习”还有“研究”的意思，还可作为名词使用。

例句：

①It was only after his departure that she learned of his affair with Pikachu.

一直到他离开后她才知道他和皮卡丘有染。

②This is outside the range of our study.

这不属于我们研究的范围。

最后，learn 是瞬间动词，后面往往跟的是时间点，而 study 是延续性动词，后面一般跟的是一个时间段。

例句：

①I learned the whole story the moment I saw her.

我看见她的那一瞬间，我就明白了事情的始末。

②I know that you've been studying dinosaur for thirty years now

我知道你研究恐龙至今已有30年了。
