Thunder，一般都知道是“雷電”，像漫威裡面的雷神托爾，我們可以翻譯成God of Thunder。而有一個關於雷電的詞彙，steal one's thunder，很多小夥伴不會翻譯，“偷雷”？聽起來不太順耳，那麼“偷電”？恩，好像有那麼一點意思，於是就翻譯成“偷電”。
罐頭菌可想說，你真的是個小機靈鬼，但怎麼看都不應該是這樣翻譯吧？
1.steal one's thunder 竊取創意，竊取功勞，搶風頭
steal one's thunder，主要是指別人竊取了創意，勞動成果或者是搶風頭。為什麼詞彙意思會相差那麼遠呢，主要是以前某個戲劇上詞彙被用到，後來用法就被延續下來了~
My brother is the star athlete of our high school, so no matter what I succeed in, he's constantly stealing my thunder.
我的哥哥在我們學校是一個明星運動員，所以不管我有多成功，他總能不斷地搶走我的風頭。
2.thunder out 大聲說話，表達
thunder out，像巨大的“雷聲”一樣，用高音量表達出來。一般用於發號命令，大聲呵責的場景。
How dare you thunder out your orders at me?
你怎麼敢對我吼叫發號施令？
3.have a face like thunder 極其憤怒
“有一張像打雷一樣的臉”，非常形象地表現出生氣時表情的“凶神惡煞”。
She suddenly came into the room with a face like thunder.
她突然走進房間，看上去極為憤怒。
4.thunderstruck 大吃一驚
struck，擊打，撞擊。假如玩過國外無翻譯的遊戲的小夥伴，應該都認識這個struck，主要表示一般的擊打。而thunderstruck，則是表示像被雷擊中一樣，意思是“嚇一跳，大吃一驚”。
Ruth was thunderstruck when he presented her with an engagement ring.
當他拿出一顆訂婚戒指的時候，露絲驚呆了。
