接受彼此的不同意见
普遍认为这个习语源自美国的文学作品(1785年)。
当时出现的词汇为agree to differ，直到后来才衍生出 agree to disagree的用法，意思是“虽然彼此不同意对方的意见，但同意接受这个状况，不再强求说服对方”。
