06.08 because of 和 due to 的區別是什麼?

because of 和 due to 是一樣的意思

1

because (conj.) / because of (prep.)

He did very well on the mid-term exam because he studied hard for it.

2

due to (prep.)

3

because of 和 due to 的區別

because of 和 due to 的區別是什麼?

(O) He got sick because of a sudden drop of the temperature.

(X) He got sick due to a sudden drop of the temperature.

(O) The company’s huge success is due to the team’s hard work.

(X) The company’s huge success is because of the team’s hard work.

4

owing to (prep.)

because of 和 due to 的區別是什麼?

(O) He fell asleep as soon as he laid down owing to a lack of sleep.

(X) His fatigue is owing to a lack of sleep.

(O) His fatigue is due to a lack of sleep.

5

since (conj.)

Since you are here, could you help me move this heavy box?

比較:since (prep.)
