So sometimes you're working on something and things go wrong and you have to start all over again.
You need to start from the beginning.
In English we say that you need to go back to square one.
So a good example of this would be if you've ever built a house of cards.
That's when you take a deck of playing cards and you build a house out of them or a tower.
And then if you make one wrong move and you knock a card out anywhere in the house of cards the whole house of cards falls down.
So we would in that case say you need to start at square one, which means that you need to start all over again.
Sometimes this happens in life too.
Maybe you're working on a big project at work and something goes really wrong we would say you have to start all over again.
You have to start at square one.
