春蠶到死絲方盡，蠟炬成灰淚始幹。
曉鏡但愁雲鬢改，夜吟應覺月光寒。
蓬山此去無多路，青鳥殷勤為探看。

Meeting is easy but parting is so hard;
The east wind is weak so the flowers fade.
The spring silkworm exhausts its silk till death,
The candle’s tears are drained while burning to ash.
The morning mirror makes up the distress of hair white,
While night chanting accompanies by the chilly moonlight
There is no path to your Penglai Maintains’ residence,
Hence Bird Messenger gives my regards as my attendance.
