（1）情態動詞與助動詞（15個）
情態動詞具有一定的詞彙含義，情態動詞後接不帶“to”的不定式共同構成複合謂語。情態動詞可以直接構成否定句和疑問句。助動詞除了構成否定句和疑問句外，謂語動詞的時態除了一般現時和一般過去是通過謂語動詞的形態變化來構成外，其它時態都需要通過助動詞來構成。

（6）介詞、冠詞的運用模式用（59）
介詞是一種虛詞，不能單獨使用，必須帶上賓語構成介詞短語，或依附在不及物動詞後面使用。介詞短語可以在句子中充當狀語，定語，表語和賓語補語，英語介詞發達，有的介詞還兼有連詞或副詞詞性。冠詞也是虛詞，不能單獨使用，必須跟名詞一起使用，對名詞起限定作用。冠詞也可以用在形容詞或分詞前，表示具有形容詞性質一類的人或事物，相當於名詞。例如：the rich富人, the poor窮人, the young年青人, the old 老年人, the following下面的, the wounded傷員。

介詞的使用比較複雜，其複雜程度僅次於動詞，有的介詞可以隨意加賓語，有的則構成固定短語，在英語課本里就有許多介詞短語，中學要求掌握的介詞大概有70個左右。介詞的運用模式有：動詞+介詞；介詞+賓語；介詞+名詞+of。一些介詞還可以帶複合賓語，如with time going（隨著時間的過去）
