How we assess your application
Your application form is reviewed when you apply to the University. If you have achieved or expect to achieve the standard entry requirements we will invite you to submit a mini portfolio. The mini portfolio is assessed by Academic Reviewers who will select applicants to attend an interview. Please note that not all applicants are invited to attend interview. When you have attended your interview we will advise you of your outcome through UCAS Track.

What happens next
All application forms, personal statements and references are read and considered by the course team against the selection criteria listed in the Entry requirements and Selection Criteria sections.
Depending on the quality of your application, you may be asked to submit a number of images of your work. For this course you should show evidence of work that reflects your interest in fashion media practice.
If the course team wish to consider your application further, you will be invited to our interview week (18th to 22nd February 2019) where the course team will look at your portfolio and ask you questions to establish your suitability for the course. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate the following at interview: why you want to come on the course and what you will bring to the course; an awareness of some of the important practitioners in fashion media and why their contribution is significant; and analytical and critical skills through a piece of recent writing.
If you are successful at the interview stage you will be offered a place. Applicants are not guaranteed to be asked to upload work, nor are they guaranteed an interview.
Please note that if you are unable to attend, the College may not be able to re-schedule.

If you study a media and communication course at LCF, such as photography, journalism or costume, you will have access to facilities across our different sites. Make-up, prosthetics and photography facilities can be found at Lime Grove, along with media labs, while John Prince's Street plays host to our fashion library.

Iteach fashion history and theory at Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion, NYU London, Sotheby’s Institute of Art and The Conde Nast School of Fashion and Design. I publish on fashion media, critical aspects of the commercial image and am interested in material culture and fashion curation. Upcoming publications include a study on hair, wigs and queer performance and feminist approaches to fashion curation. I am currently working on a book on Nick Knight and the impact of fashion film on digital fashion.
