這句英文, 你知道錯在哪嗎？
去醫院看病≠go to hospital
還記得以前教科書上教的go to hospital 嗎？其實這也是“中式”英語之一！
go to hospital一般用來表達
1. 去看望住院的人
例：
go to the hospital for treatment
找醫生檢查一下，治療個感冒發燒之類的小病老外更愛說 go to a doctor、see a doctor
例：
I'd like to see an eye doctor.
我想看眼科醫生。
I need to go to the ear doctor.
我要去看耳科醫生。
體檢也不是 body check！
檢查身體≠ check my body
體檢 ≠ body check
body還有屍體的意思，用漢語思維直譯，嚇著別人就不好了。
體檢 = checkup ，也可以說medical examination
例：
When was your last checkup?
你上次體檢是什麼時候？
It's important to have regular checkups.
定期體檢很重要。
預約掛號≠ make reservation！
和國外一樣, 現在很多大城市都開通的網上預約掛號。
You can make an appointment first.
你可以提前預約。
和某人預約，通常用appointment來表達
預約場地，座位通常用reservation來表達
例：
I have an appointment with the dentist at three o'clock this afternoon.
我下午三點和牙醫有預約。
病假條≠ sick letter
很多同學會將病假條說成 sick letter。
letter是信件的意思，"生病的信件"肯定不對。
sick leave certificate 也同樣不行。
certificate指某個機構開出的，證明身份或者資格的證書，
比如結婚證書: marriage certificate
病假條 = sick note/doctor's note
note用來表示證明某種情況的簡短的書面證明。
例：
My brother is a doctor. He always gives me a sick note when I want a day off.
我的哥哥是醫生，我想要休一天假時，他總會給我開病假條。
