但是美西時間3月12日下午，有大量的新聞報道說因Coronavirus，現在各個地方活動取消。我晚上去上英語課程時，老師告訴我們是最後一節課程啦。

COVID-19: What’s closed or canceled in Utah?

Church services, plays and sporting events from the NBA to high school games are being restricted or delayed amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. Also closed are libraries, recreation centers, senior centers and more. Here is a list of what Utahns need to know about closures, cancellations and postponements.
Churches
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints canceled all meetings, activities and public gatherings of church members until further notice. Leaders are encouraged to use technology to conduct meetings, and individual bishops and stake presidents will decide how to make sacrament available to members at least once a month.
The K2 Church in Murray, which normally attracts about 1,000 people each Sunday, said it will stream services on Facebook Live, something it has already been doing. Midweek meetings for youths, as well as for men and women, will be canceled for at least two weeks.
Calvary Baptist Pastor Oscar T. Moses said his leadership team is meeting Thursday night to determine how to handle Sunday worship services, which hundreds attend at two different times.
The superintendent of Utah Catholic Schools announced all Catholic places of worship and religious education programs will close. Any instruction will occur remotely through technology.
School sports and activities
Utah Youth Soccer Association suspended league play for two weeks. Practices will be held at the discretion of member organizations and local coaches, with the group urging “safe, smart” practices.
There will be no March Madness for the first time since beginning in 1939. After initially saying games would be played without fans, the NCAA canceled its Division I men’s and women’s college basketball tournaments on Thursday afternoon.
The PGA Tour canceled the Players Championship and the next three tournaments through the Valero Texas Open.
Early Thursday afternoon, the Utah High School Activities Association announced the suspension of the state’s debate championships, scheduled for this weekend, and the suspension of all spring activities and sports beginning Monday, March 16, for at least two weeks. The association gave individual schools or districts the option to suspend activities immediately.
The Utah Foundation for the Blind and Visually Impaired canceled the statewide Utah Regional Braille Challenge, scheduled for Friday, March 13.
Major League Baseball announced the postponement of the 2020 season’s start, which includes the Salt Lake Bees season.
NBA has suspended play until further notice.
The ECHL, the hockey league in which the Utah Grizzlies compete, has suspended its season until further notice.
The XFL will not be playing its regular season games. Season ticket holders will be issued refunds or credits to future games, and players will continue to be paid and receive benefits.
Concerts, plays, arts
Cirque du Soleil has canceled “BAZZAR,” which was scheduled May 24 through July 5 at the Maverik Center. All ticket holders will be contacted by their point of sale regarding the refund process. Cirque du Soleil will be working to reschedule performances in West Valley City in the near future.
Four concerts at Vivint Smart Home Arena through the end of April have been postponed. The Post Malone Runaway Tour was set for Saturday, March 21; the Celine Dion Courage World Tour was scheduled for Thursday, March 26; JoJo Siwa D.R.E.A.M. The Tour was to play Friday, March 27; and the Cher Here We Go Again Tour 2020 was planned for Tuesday, April 28. Guests who purchased tickets to those shows will be notified through the promoter directly to either receive a refund or exchange for a rescheduled show.
Hale Centre Theatre has canceled all performances through March 30. Officials from the box office will contact ticket holders to exchange tickets or issue refunds.
Salt Lake Acting Company’s play, “Four Women Talking About the Man Under the Sheet,” has been postponed. It will be rescheduled for late spring or early summer, and ticket holders will be contacted to exchange tickets.
Pioneer Theatre Company’s play scheduled for March 27-April 11 is canceled. Ticket holders can exchange tickets for one of the other plays scheduled this year or donate them to the company in support of the artists. The Play-by-Play reading for “The Messenger” will continue as planned for March 13 and 14 as audience size is much smaller.
Egyptian Theatre canceled three nights of sold-out shows for the band, Moe. Full refunds will be offered, and the band is working on dates to reschedule its shows. The theater also announced the cancellation of “Newsies: The Musical,” and refunds will be given.
Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood are closing through the end of March.
Utah Film Center Board of Directors decided to cancel Utah Film Center public and school programs at all venues, beginning with Thursday’s screening of “Binti,” through April 19. The center will reschedule all canceled events. It will also be sending out regular communications in its newsletter and social media. The center is also attempting to reschedule its “Tumbleweeds” programs and will honor all tickets, passes and vouchers, if possible.
Park City Institute canceled both “Saints and Sinners” and a concert featuring T Bone Burnett. It hopes to reschedule both.
Abravanel Hall, Capitol Theatre, Eccles Theater and the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center will be closed for all performances from March 12-31, including the remaining performances of “Dear Evan Hansen” at the Eccles Theater, which was scheduled to run through Saturday, March 14.
Utah Museum of Contemporary Art is postponing all public programming through April 17. That includes Family Art Saturday (March 14); a public and VIP reception (March 27); screening for “Sama” (March 27); and a second screening of “#Female Pleasure” (April 10).
Travel, parks, recreation and resorts
The Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation will close all its venues — the Utah Olympic Park, the Utah Olympic Oval and the Soldier Hollow Nordic Center — to the public through Sunday, March 29.
The Playhouse Plunge at Willard Bay State Park on Saturday, March 21, and the Buffalo Run events at Antelope Island State Park on Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 21, have been canceled. However, all 44 state parks and amenities remain open and staffed.
Division of Wildlife Resources canceled public events on March 14 (swan viewing); March 28 (mountain goat viewing); March 28 (turkey hunting clinic at Eccles Wildlife Center); March 28 (turkey hunting clinic in Monticello). Also canceled is Fishing Fun for children with special needs on March 30 in southern Utah. New dates will be announced for the learn to fish Utah Lake DWR Central Region clinic, originally set for March 12; and the Walleye Seminar at DWR Salt Lake City office, scheduled March 19.
Park City Municipal facilities will remain open, but all nonessential programming has been suspended until further notice.
Government and public facilities
Salt Lake County is closing libraries, senior centers, recreation centers, arts and cultural facilities, equestrian park, Clark Planetarium and Discovery Center beginning Friday, March 13. A full list of closed facilities is available at slco.org.
Murray is closing its senior center, recreation center, library and museum. City officials suspended all recreation programs, both indoor and outdoor, and all cultural arts programs until further notice.
Herriman City Hall will remain open, but is limited to essential functions only. The passport office and police records office are closed.
Lehi is closing its library, Lehi Literacy Center, senior center, Legacy Center, youth community classes, sports programming and dance programming for at least two weeks.
Clearfield City Hall and Aquatic and Fitness Center will remain open, but programing outside of drop-in use is canceled until further notice. The art center will be closed.
American Fork Fitness Center will close Friday, March 13, for two weeks. That includes all programs, classes and activities, including the pool. For more information, visit afcity.org/fitness. Also effective March 13, all outdoor recreation programs will be postponed. Libraries will remain open, but the city is canceling all programming and room reservations. The senior center will still offer meals, but all activities and reservations will be canceled.
Orem City Library, Orem Senior Friendship Center and Orem Fitness Center are closed from March 13 until March 31. All public events on the calendar through March 31 are canceled or postponed. All city directed sports programs and leagues are postponed until March 31.
Schools, colleges, universities
Murray School District closed all of its schools (K-12) on Thursday morning after becoming aware of “potential direct contact exposure to COVID-19” within the district. It could create online learning opportunities and will let students and parents know when classes will resume. All activities associated with school have been canceled as well, including practices.
Rowland Hall sent an email Thursday letting parents and teachers know its campuses will close as of Monday, March 16. All on-campus classes and activities will be canceled through Sunday, April 12, and the schools will shift to remote learning models beginning Tuesday, March 17.
Intermountain Christian School in Cottonwood Heights has made the decision to suspend all activities and on-campus classes as of 5:30 p.m. Thursday through the end of spring break, March 29. Beginning Tuesday, March 17, they will offer online instruction.
Utah Valley University canceled classes beginning Thursday, March 12, through Wednesday, March 18. Classes will resume online on Wednesday, March 18. Students can get information on which classes will resume and on what dates via Canvas. Also, beginning Monday, March 16, through Friday, May 1, all university-sponsored events, concerts or large gatherings are postponed or canceled. A decision about graduation events will be made at a later date. More information is available at uvu.info.
Westminster College postponed all classes until March 23, when they will resume online until March 27. The school will reevaluate how to handle the remainder of the year in two weeks.
University of Utah will cancel or move all classes online. Decisions about graduation events will come later. University housing will remain open and food service will be available throughout the rest of the semester. Officials ask any students who traveled home for spring break to stay home and not return to campus.
BYU will begin offering most classes online beginning Monday, March 23.
Weber State University announced all courses are suspended March 13-17, to allow faculty and staff time to prepare to continue online. Starting Wednesday, March 18, the university will move to online/remote instruction for the rest of spring semester. All university events are canceled until March 30. University business meetings will be held on an as-needed basis. Residence halls and food services will remain open, but all study abroad trips have been canceled through April 20. Athletics will take place or be canceled by Big Sky Conference officials.
Alpine School District will operate on an altered schedule Monday, March 16, and Tuesday, March 17. There will be no preschool or kindergarten, and high school will start at 7:45 a.m. and end at 11:15 a.m.; early elementary begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m.; junior high/middle schools begin at 8:15 a.m. and end at noon; traditional elementary starts at 9:15 a.m. and ends at 12:45 p.m.; late elementary starts at 9:15 a.m. and ends at 12:45 p.m.; ATEC (east and west) starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m.
Expos, trade shows and conferences
Bluffdale’s Shakeout Preparedness Fair on Saturday, April 18, has been canceled. It may be rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19.
Silicon Slopes Sandy/Draper breakfast with Spencer Cox at the Salt Mine is being postponed.
We are Utah Manufacturers Expo has been rescheduled to Sept. 23 from 1-8 p.m. at the Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy.
The Utah Library Association canceled its 2020 Annual Conference in St. George on May 13-15.
The 2020 St. George Art Festival canceled its event scheduled for April 10-11 at historic Town Square. It’s the first cancelation since 1980.
Jails, prisons, courts
Utah Chief Justice Matthew Durrant has issued an order outlining a first set of guidelines for dealing with COVID-19 in Utah courts. The courts are canceling nonessential group gatherings, and are working with community partners including sheriffs, prosecutors, defense attorneys and others to cancel nonessential proceedings and transition proceedings to video hearings where possible. Additional orders and guidelines will be issued as the need arises.
Herriman Justice Court will continue to hold hearings for bench warrants, domestic violence cases and DUI cases. All other court hearings will be postponed indefinitely.
The Utah Department of Corrections is temporarily suspending all visiting and volunteer services at state correctional facilities.
The Salt Lake City Justice Court is continuing all jury trials thought Friday, April 10. The court will reschedule the trials. Pretrial conferences associated with the trials have been canceled.
Miscellaneous
Snowbird has temporarily closed the Aerial Tram. Skiers and snowboarders can continue to access Hidden Peak via the Peruvian Tunnel and Mineral Basin chairlift.
The Utah Republican and Utah Democratic parties have canceled their in-person state conventions in April. The Utah GOP will also postpone neighborhood caucus meetings scheduled March 24.U nited Utah Party will not hold its caucuses and conventions at physical locations this year, but will hold virtual meetings through video conference calls.
The Boy Scouts of America is postponing its annual Scouting’s Feed Utah Food Drive until the fall. The drive was scheduled for Saturday, March 21.
