杜伦大学20周/10周/5周PSE全改为线上进行

I have just received an update from Durham’s English Language Centre, regarding the forthcoming Pre-Sessional English language programmes – 20 10 and 5 week, which this year will all be delivered online. It is hoped that the information below will be uploaded to the Pre-sessional Programmes webpages later today;
This will be our first year as an online pre-sessional and our main goal is to ensure you receive an excellent pre-sessional experience that prepares you for your Durham programme. We are working closely with Durham University’s learning technologists, who have considerable expertise in this area, to adapt our programme to the online environment and to ensure we offer high-quality provision.

This means several things: 这包括如下：
1) We will provide complete course materials with detailed answers and examples and supporting video content hosted on the University’s VLE

2) The course will include work on academic speaking, listening, reading and writing

3) The course will be delivered by the same highly-qualified, experienced teachers who work on our Durham programmes

4) Our teachers will receive specialist training to ensure they can deliver the programme to a high standard

5) You will have frequent one-to-one time with your teacher to discuss your learning, your progress, and any work you have produced. You will also regularly receive detailed, written feedback.

6) You will be part of a small class, so you will get to know other pre-sessional students and have regular opportunities to video-conference in order to discuss your academic tasks, share questions,
