小城市的魅力
在说到发展规划的时候，很多人的选择是“宁作凤尾，不当鸡头”，当然也有人喜欢小地方的安逸与慢节奏。今天我们用英语来讨论一下小城市的魅力。首先分享一个词“throwback”,意思为“返祖者，返祖的东西，返祖”，很多小城市不追求极速的经济发展，所以保留了很多原始的、古老的遗产给人们。 我们来造个句子：
That restaurant is such a throwback to the 1950s! The waiters’ uniforms and the restaurant décor all make me think of my grandparents’ childhood.

接着，我们分享一个词“old-timer”, 其含义为“老居民，老资格的人”
I ate at the family-owned restaurants and learned about the quirky history of the town by shooting the breeze with the old-timers at the local bar.
