05 如何表達喜歡？I love it! [英語口語系列]

I love it. “我愛死它了”

“I’m loving your new dress!”

可用現在進行時強調喜歡一個新的改變，

比方說天氣，新的音樂，某人新買的東

西，一個最近收到的新禮物。

“I’m really into science fiction. ”

be really into something

是為…著迷/痴迷的意思。

可以是一個愛好、物品甚至是⼈。

“This cake is to die for!”

”to die for”是一個誇張的方式去讚美

或者表達自己的喜愛，“此生無憾”。

通常指的是吃的穿的。

“I can’t get over this song.”

“to get over something/someone”

代表從…恢復，通常指的是不好的事情，

e.g.分手。

這個表達也可形容好事，尤其是最近發現

的而且很熱衷的事物。e.g. 某人的髮型，

某個電影橋段，某個聲⾳音等。

I like it. “我喜歡它。”

“I quite like it.”

英國人與美國人的表達方式不太一樣。在

英國人的耳中，這句話代表滿意；在美國

人耳中，這句話會代表不是很喜歡，

沒有I like it 那麼喜歡。

“I’m into Cheese tea.”

沒有really後，“I’m into…”代表我喜歡。

通常問對方喜歡什麼的時候，就可以用這

個表達：What sort of music are you into?

“I’m fond of drinking hot tea on snowy days.”

fond 指你喜歡某事像是個習慣一樣，

可能已經這麼做很久了。

I’m fond of my armchair.

I’m fond of late night snacks.

I’m fond of painting.

“This music is to my liking.”

比較正式的表達，通常描述的是某個形

式，或者某種方式是喜歡的。任何事物有

多種形式的，都可以這樣來描述，

e.g. 時尚、裝修、烹飪、寫作等。

This tea is made to my liking.

He didn’t finish the task to my liking.

So I redid it myself.

I’m starting to like it. “我喜歡它。”

“I’ve been getting into dancing lately”

“getting into” 指最近發展的新愛好。非常

靈活，可以描述任何和愛好特長相關的。

這還可以是開始一個話題的好方法，尤其

是你很久沒有見對方了。

“It’s growing on me.”

可用來形容某人/某事你開始是拒絕的，但

是現在慢慢喜歡了。

“I thought this music was too noisy at first,

but since my brother has been listening

to it more, it’s been growing on me.”

“- What do you think of the song?”

“- It’s growing on me.”

“I’m warming up to the idea.”

通常形容喜歡某個想法或者概念。之前可能是”cold”,

現在慢慢“暖”起來，喜歡、正面起來了。

“If you relax and smile, people will warm up

to you quickly.”

“I didn’t want to go skiing before, but now

I’m warming up to the idea.”

“I’m developing a taste for wine.”

比較正式的表達，通常來描述“小眾”的愛

好、⻝食物、音樂、藝術等。當然，可以用

來描述大眾喜歡的事物，更貼切表達可以

用“getting into”。
