空間的前身是一間出租公寓，位於阿姆斯特丹。i29建築工作室接手之後，拆除多餘的房間，使用簡單的裝飾材料，將其改造改造成一間寬敞明亮的loft。
A former rental apartment in de Pijp, Amsterdam is transformed by i29 into a fresh and spacious loft by breaking unnecessary walls and using simple touch of materials.
最初，這套公寓有很多的房間，能接觸到的自然光線非常有限。而改造的主要目的就是最大限度地利用自然光，創造美好的空間體驗。所以設計團隊選擇了非常簡單的裝飾材料：橡木牆板、白色粉刷牆壁、深藍色傢俱和淺灰色的合成地板。
Originally, the apartment had many rooms and scarce daylight. The main objective was to achieve maximum use of natural light and to create a spatial experience. The interior is executed in a simple material scheme of large oak wall panels, white plastered walls, dark blue furniture pieces and light grey synthetic floors.
一個集多種使用功能於一身的大型牆面組合櫃貫穿了室內空間，組成了客廳、廚房和餐廳區域，既是收納中心，也是電視櫃，同時可以將廚房完全隱藏在其可移動的滑動面板之後。
An integrated wall cabinet organizes the living, kitchen and dining area in one large gesture. Several functions have been integrated in this piece such as stora¬ge space, a television cabinet and a custom designed kitchen which can be hid¬den behind two large sliding panels.
廚房的純黑色操作島臺位於房間的中線，結合細高腿的長桌，愈加顯得精緻。黑色和深藍色調的傢俱與輕盈的空間形成了鮮明的對比。
A contrasting black kitchen island combi¬ned with a large high table is placed in the middle and divides the space.Furniture pieces in black and dark blue tones are in contrast with the light airy space.
二層有兩間臥室和一間浴室，空間均為純白色，結合粗糙的橡木地板，散發出簡潔的氣息。浴室的內置浴缸和水槽都是特別的定製款，與空間完美契合。
The top floor including two bedrooms and a bathroom, is finished all whi¬te in combination with the rough oak flooring. A built-in bath and custom desig¬ned sink of LG HiMacs blends in with the rest of the space.

i29 interior architects is a creative and versatile design studio. We believe in simplicity and contradiction. The result of being selective is that you have to push each choice to the limit. It also provides a field of tension, and energy to a space. But more importantly it leaves you with a charismatic environment. i29 stands for a work ethic that leads to design solutions dependent neither on expensive materials nor on technical show. We look for choices that answer to multiple questions at the same time. They should tell a conceptual story about the company, the space and it’s users. The firm represents a method in which architecture and interior architecture come together in a model combination. i29 links architectonic components with surfaces that gain maximum impact through the use of a color, material or typography. The specific ways in which the firm extracts so much from so little has proved itself to the projects which have been awarded until now. Founding partners Jaspar Jansen and Jeroen Dellensen and their team have received national and international awards for their work, which is published worldwide in magazines and books.
