When you start looking at a problem and it seems really simple, you don’t really understand the complexity of the problem. Then you get into the problem, and you see that it’s really complicated, and you come up with all these convoluted solutions. That’s sort of the middle, and that’s where most people stop… But the really great person will keep on going and find the key, the underlying principle of the problem — and come up with an elegant, really beautiful solution that works.
當問題擺在眼前的時候，它看起來似乎很簡單，可是你現在並沒有真正地理解這個問題的複雜性。之後當你嘗試去解決這個問題的時候，你才發現這個問題真的很複雜，接下來你想出了所有你能想出的複雜的解決方案。然而行百里者半九十，很多人在此就已經放棄了...！但真正了不起的人會堅持下去，直到找到解決問題的關鍵，發現問題的最核心的方面——從而提出一個漂亮的，有效的解決方案。
